From the competition in Skellefteå on 26 February 2005, the song went further to the final inside the Stockholm Globe Arena. Once there, on 12 March 2005, it ended up in sixth place. The single topped the Swedish singles chart, and also charted at Svensktoppen for three weeks between 10 April -24 April 2005-, with a 5th, a 6th and one 10th position, before leaving the chart. Erik Robert Jimmy Jansson (born September 17, 1985) is a Swedish singer and songwriter. At Melodifestivalen 2020 he set a new record for the amount of competing entries by a composer at one contest with six entries. Music career Jansson's music career began when he formed a rock band, The Poets, with some of his friends in 2001. That same year, they were chosen to compete in Melodifestivalen with the song "What Difference Does It Make," but did not make it to the finals. In 2003 Jansson was a reality show contestant, Fame Factory, on TV3 in Sweden, who released in 2004 his first single, " Godmorgon världen," that reached No. 1 on the Swedish charts although he did not win the show. Skellefteå (, locally ) is a Cities in Sweden, city in Västerbotten County, Sweden. It is the seat of Skellefteå Municipality, which had 73,246 inhabitants in 2021. Melodifestivalen 2005 was the selection for the 45th song to represent Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest. It was the 44th time that this system of picking a song had been used. Five heats had taken place to select the ten songs for the final, in Gothenburg, Linköping, Skellefteå, Växjö and a Second Chance round in Stockholm. The final was broadcast on SVT1 and Sveriges Radio's P4 network, with viewing figures of approximately 4,055,000 and with 1,519,997 televotes cast. Nanne Grönvall's defeat was met with consternation by many people, who felt that a gap of over 150,000 votes should be enough for victory. There were even calls for SVT to scrap the jury system altogether and simply let the televotes decide the winner.
