Veselin Aleksandrov Topalov (pronounced ; bg, Весели́н Александров Топа́лов; born 15 March 1975) is a Bulgarian chess International Grandmaster, grandmaster and former FIDE World Chess Championship, World Chess Champion. Veselin Stefanov Marinov ( bg, Веселин Стефанов Маринов; born 4 August 1961 in Polski Trambesh, Bulgaria), better known as Vesko Marinov, is a Bulgarian pop singer. Biography Veselin Marinov was born in the town of Polski Trambesh (near Veliko Tarnovo) on August 4, 1961 to Yordanka and Stefan Marinov. Career Early beginnings Veselin started his involvement with music when he was in the 7th grade. He started to play and sing in a school group. During the compulsory military service Veselin Marinov realized that the music is his destiny and he applied in National Academy of Music (Bulgaria). In 1981, at the beginning of his studies, he was invited to become the lead singer of Bulgarian rock band Impuls. His first stage appearance was on 2 December 1982 in Vidin, Bulgaria. Veselin Đuho
Veselin Đuho (born 5 January 1960) is a Croatian professional water polo coach and former player who was a two-time Olympic gold medalist for Yugoslavia at the 1984 and 1988 Summer Olympics. Đuho was born in Foča but moved to Dubrovnik as a child, where he started swimming in 1968, and joined VK Jug in 1974. He spent most of his career in Jug, winning with them five Yugoslav league titles, two Yugoslav cup titles, and the LEN Champions League in 1981. Veselin Minev (Bulgarian Cyrillic: Веселин Минев; born 14 October 1980) is a retired Bulgarian footballer who played as a left-back and current assistant manager of Arda Kardzhali. Veselin Čajkanović ( sr-cyr, Веселин Чајкановић; 1881 in Belgrade – 1946) was a Serbian classical scholar, philologist, philosopher, ethnologist, orientalist, religious history scholar, and Greek and Latin translator. Biography Čajkanović studied classical philology at Belgrade's Grandes écoles (''Velika škola''), and received an international scholarship, on the recommendation of professor Pavle Popović, to take post-graduate studies at the University of Leipzig and University of Munich (where he took his Master of Arts degree) and finished his doctorate under Karl Krumbacher. In 1908 he became a Latin lecturer at the Belgrade University School of Philosophy and published his MA dissertation, ''Quaestionum paroemiographicarum capita selecta'', in Tübingen. Veselin Jelušić is a Serbian association football, football coach who is the manager of the Lesotho national football team, Lesotho national team. Career He taught at the University of Belgrade in the 1990s. He then managed two African national teams, Angola national football team, Angola and Botswana national football team, Botswana. Veselin Masleša ( sr-cyr, Веселин Маслеша; 20 April 1906 – 14 June 1943) was a Yugoslav writer, activist and Partisan. Veselin Masleša was born to a Bosnian Serb family in Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina, then occupied by Austria-Hungary, where he finished grade school and gymnasium. He then studied law at the University of Zagreb, economics in Frankfurt and then political economy and sociology in Paris. His first published work was in the magazine ''Nova literatura'' in 1928, and he also published in the magazines ''Književnik'', ''Stožer'', ''Danas'' and ''Naša stvarnost''. Veselin Petrović (6 September 1929 – 8 November 1995) was a Serbian cyclist. Career Veselin Petrović-Vesa was born 6 September 1929 in Vlasenica, Kingdom of Yugoslavia (today Bosnia and Herzegovina). Veselin Petrović ( sr-cyr, Веселин Петровић; born 1 July 1977) is a Serbian professional basketball coach and former player. He currently works as an assistant coach for OKK Beograd of the Basketball League of Serbia. Playing career Petrović grew up with the Bosna Sarajevo youth teams.
