Veronica Lugya (Vinka)
Nakiyingi Veronica Lugya (born June 28, 1993), professionally known as Vinka, is a Ugandan Musical artist, dancer, singer and songwriter. She is signed under Swangz Avenue and Sony Music entertainment. Background and education Vinka born in 1993 to Mr and Mrs Lugya grew up in Kazo with her dad and in primary 5, she went to live at her mum's place in Bweyogerere. She went to Hormisdalen primary school in Kamwokya for her private school education. She thereafter joined Rubaga girls' school for her O' and A' level education. She then joined Makerere University and graduated with bachelor's degree in Tourism and Hospitality in 2017. Career Vinka started out as a professional dancer and worked with Jackie Chandiru, Sera, Maurice Kirya, Cindy Sanyu among others. Swangz Avenue is an audio and film production house in Uganda. As a record label, Swangz Avenue is more lined with music production projects, artist management, digital distribution, music publishing and events management. Swangz Avenue is the brainchild of a Ugandan musician Benon Mugumya, who started this music production back in 2008. Global Records is a Romanian independent record label founded in 2008 by Ștefan Lucian. History Global Records's first signed artist was Inna in 2008, whose career has been spanning over 10 years. She has released a series of international hits such as "Hot" (2008), "Sun Is Up" (2010), and " More than Friends" (2013) and recorded collaborations with performers including Daddy Yankee and J Balvin. Irene Ntale (born 30 January 1989) is a Ugandan singer, songwriter, and guitarist. She sings RnB, reggae, and acoustic soul. Early life and education Ntale was born on 30 January 1989 to George William Ntale and his wife. She started singing at school and in the church choir where she also learned how to play the guitar. She went to Kitante primary school, Kitante Hill School for O-level, and Makerere High, now Migadde College, for A-level.
