Veronica Inglese
Veronica Inglese (born 22 November 1990) is an Italian long-distance runner. She won a silver medal at the 2016 European Athletics Championships. Biography In the 5,000m, she won the bronze medal at the 2009 European Junior Championships in Athletics. She won twelve Italian national titles, including four senior (5000m, 10 km road, cross-country and 10,000m track). She has been selected several times on the national team: at the 2011 World Championships, at the 2013 European Cross Country Championships where she finished 8th, and at the 2014 Half Marathon World Championships, among others. On 1 May 2016, she ran in Palo Alto the 10,000m in 31:42:02, which qualifies her for the Rio Olympics, a time she adds over 5,000m, 15:22:45, 25 June 2016 in Rieti to win the national championship. Barletta
Barletta () is a city, ''comune'' of Apulia, in south eastern Italy. Barletta is the capoluogo, together with Andria and Trani, of the Province of Barletta-Andria-Trani. It has a population of around 94,700 citizens. The city's territory belongs to the Valle dell'Ofanto. The Ofanto river crosses the countryside and forms the border between the territory of Barletta and that of Margherita di Savoia. The mouth of the river is in the territory of Barletta. The area of Barletta also includes part of the battlefield of Cannae. This is a very important archeological site, remembered for the major battle in 216 BCE between the Romans and the Carthaginians, won by Hannibal. Sara Isabel Fonseca Moreira (; born 17 October 1985) is a Portuguese runner who competes in cross country, road running and in middle-distance and long-distance track events. She represents Sporting CP at club level. After contributing for three collective European cross-country titles and winning individual silver and bronze medals in other championships, she secured her first individual senior title with the 3000 metres gold medal at the 2013 European Athletics Indoor Championships in Gothenburg. At the 2016 European Athletics Championships, Moreira won her first major outdoor individual title by taking the gold medal in the debuting half marathon event.
