Vermont Dairy Festival
The Vermont Dairy Festival is an annual festival dedicated to the Vermont dairy industry, typically held on the first weekend of June in Enosburg Falls, Vermont. History The Vermont Dairy Festival was first held in 1956. Initially known as Dairy Days with a focus on celebrating the dairy industry for farmers, it eventually became the Franklin County Dairy Festival and then the Vermont Dairy Festival. It is run by the Enosburg Falls Lions Club and proceeds from the festival are disbursed to local community causes and organizations. About 20,000 people attended the event in past years. Enosburg Falls is a village in the town of Enosburgh in Franklin County, Vermont, in the United States. The population was 1,356 at the 2020 census. Geography The village is located in the northwest corner of the town of Enosburgh along the Missisquoi River and its falls. The village center is north of the river, but the village limits extend south of the river as well. Vermont Routes 105 and 108 pass through the village together as Main Street. Route 105 leads northeast to Richford and southwest to St. Albans, the Franklin County seat. Route 108 leads north to the West Berkshire Border Crossing at the Canada–United States border north of East Franklin and south to Jeffersonville. Enosburgh is a town in Franklin County, Vermont, in the United States. The population was 2,810 at the 2020 census. Enosburgh includes the village of Enosburg Falls and the settlements of Bordoville, East Enosburgh, North Enosburgh, Sampsonville, West Enosburgh, and Enosburgh Center. Enosburgh was named for Roger Enos, who had been a commander of all the Vermont Forces in the American Revolution. He was also the father-in-law of Ira Allen, founder of Vermont.
