Vermilion Township is one of the nine townships of Erie County, Ohio, United States. It is part of the Sandusky, Ohio metropolitan statistical area. As of the 2010 census the population was 4,945. Brownhelm Township is one of the eighteen townships of Lorain County, Ohio, United States. As of the 2010 census, the population was 7,618, of whom 1,766 lived in the unincorporated portions of the township.
