Vereniging Martijn (; "Martijn Association"; stylized as MARTIJN) was a Dutch association that advocated the societal acceptance of pedophilia and legalization of sexual relationships between adults and children. Establishment The organization began in 1984. It claimed to fight for "the social and societal acceptance of child-adult relationships", emphasising what they called the "consent of both child and adult" and the "freedom for the child to withdraw from the relationship". The Party for Neighbourly Love, Freedom, and Diversity or The Charity, Freedom and Diversity Party (''Partij voor Naastenliefde, Vrijheid en Diversiteit'', PNVD) was a Dutch political party with no representation in parliament, and only three known members . It is commonly called the ''"pedopartij"'' ("pedo party") in the media, due to its advocacy for legalization of child pornography and the lowering of the age of consent. PNVD was originally founded on 31 May 2006 by three self-described pedophiles. Its motto is "sapere aude" ("Have courage to use your own reason"). PNVD has not participated in any election. The Dutch Society for Sexual Reform ( nl, Nederlandse Vereniging voor Seksuele Hervorming, NVSH) is a Dutch sexual advocacy organization. The NVSH was founded in 1946, as the successor of the Dutch Neo-Malthusian League, a birth control organisation which opened the first birth control clinic in the world in 1881, in Amsterdam. The NVSH was once the only source of condoms in the Netherlands. Up to the 1960s, a great deal of energy went into building up the organisation, which in its heyday ran over 60 birth control clinics in The Netherlands. Much work in those early years was put into improving the quality and availability of contraceptives (condom, diaphragm and spermicidal jelly). In 1966 the society reached a membership of 220,000. Edward Brongersma
Edward Brongersma (31 August 1911 in Haarlem, Netherlands – 22 April 1998 in Bloemendaal/Overveen, Netherlands) was a Dutch politician and doctor of law. For a number of years he was a member of the Dutch Senate for the Labour Party, and chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee.
