''Verdad oculta'' is a Colombian police crime drama television series deloveped by Dramax for RCN Televisión that premiered on this network on 1 July 2020. The drama is based on the book by Germán Castro Caycedo, ''Una verdad oscura''. It is written by Verónica Triana and Pedro Miguel Rozo, and directed by Rodrigo Triana and Jorge Alí Triana. Verónica Orozco Aristizábal (born June 8, 1979) is a Colombian actress and singer. Private life Orozco is the daughter of actor Luís Fernando Orozco and Carmenza Aristizábal Hoyos. Germán Castro Caycedo (3 March 1940 – 15 July 2021) was a Colombian journalist and writer. Castro Caycedo's topics revolve around the Colombian reality, under the parameters of the cultural identity and its social and economic phenomena. Born in Zipaquirá, Colombia, he graduated from Gimnasio Germán Peña. After studying anthropology for 3 years on the Universidad Nacional, he worked with El Tiempo newspaper from 1967 to 1977 as a general columnist.
