Verano De Escándalo (2002)
The 2002 ''Verano de Escándalo'' ( Spanish for "Summer of Scandal") was the sixth annual ''Verano de Escándalo'' professional wrestling show promoted by AAA. The show took place on September 16, 2002, in Naucalpan, Mexico, like the previous year'sevent. The main event featured a Luchas de Apuestas elimination match where the loser would have his hair shaved off. Super Crazy
Francisco Islas Rueda (born December 3, 1973), better known by his ring name Super Crazy, is a Mexican ''luchador'' (or professional wrestler). In Mexico, Islas has worked for Asistencia Asesoría y Administración (AAA) and made appearances for various independent promotions but is not currently associated with one specific Mexican promotion. Triplemanía
Triplemanía is the biggest annual professional wrestling event promoted by the Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA) promotion and is traditionally held in August each year. A majority of the shows have been presented as pay-per-view events, with some being shown as television specials on the Televisa channel or as streaming events on Twitch. The Triplemanía show features culminations of AAA's long building storylines. During the early years of Triplemanía, the event was not a presented as a single show, but a series of shows - either two or three per year. Esther Moreno
María Esther Moreno León (born February 20, 1969) is a Mexican ''luchadora'', or female professional wrestler best known under the ring name Esther Moreno. In AAA she is a former 2 time AAA Reina de Reinas Champion. Professional wrestling career In the early 1990s Esther and her sister Cynthia Moreno travelled to Japan to wrestle for All Japan Women's Pro-Wrestling. On April 21, 1991 the Moreno sisters defeated Etsuko Mita and Mima Shimoda to win the AJW Tag Team Championship, making them the first Mexican team to hold a championship in Japan. Mascarita Dorada (Spanish: ''Little Golden Mask''; born February 19, 1982), is the ring name of a Mexican ''Luchador enmascarado'', or masked professional wrestler, who works in the ''Mini-Estrella'' division, comparable to midget wrestling. Mario González Lozano (born April 18, 1969) is a Mexican ''luchador'', or professional wrestler, who works as an ''exótico'' for the Mexican Lucha Libre AAA World Wide promotion and Lucha Underground under the ring name Pimpinela Escarlata. In professional wrestling, a face (babyface) is a heroic, "good guy" or "fan favorite" wrestler, booked (scripted) by the promotion with the aim of being cheered by fans, and acts as a protagonist to the heels, who are the villainous antagonist or "bad guy" characters. Traditionally, they wrestle within the rules and avoid cheating (in contrast to the villains who use illegal moves and call in additional wrestlers to do their work for them) while behaving positively towards the referee and the audience. In professional wrestling, a heel (also known as a ''rudo'' in '' lucha libre'') is a wrestler who portrays a villain, "bad guy", or "rulebreaker", and acts as an antagonist to the faces, who are the heroic protagonist or "good guy" characters. Not everything a heel wrestler does must be villainous: heels need only to be booed or jeered by the audience to be effective characters, although most truly successful heels embrace other aspects of their devious personalities, such as cheating to win or using foreign objects. "The role of a heel is to get 'heat,' which means spurring the crowd to obstreperous hatred, and generally involves cheating and pretty much any other manner of socially unacceptable behavior that will get the job done." Wrestling Mask
A wrestling mask is a fabric-based mask that some professional wrestlers wear as part of their in-ring persona or gimmick. Professional wrestlers have been using masks as far back as 1915 and they are still widely used today, especially in Lucha Libre in Mexico. History At the 1865 World's Fair, Theobaud Bauer debuted the mask, wrestling as "The Masked Wrestler" in Paris, France. He continued wrestling using the mask throughout France as part of a circus troupe in the 1860s before moving on to the United States in the early 1870s.
