Ventdelplà
''Ventdelplà'' was a Catalonia, Catalan TV series that was aired on TV3 (Catalonia), TV3. It was created by Josep Maria Benet i Jornet and 365 episodes were aired between 2005 and 2010. Plot The plot centers on Teresa, a woman abused by her husband and who flees from Barcelona to the fictional village of Ventdelplà where she has an uncle, Gustau. Although initially intending to sell the house and go back to Barcelona, she stays in Ventdelplà. The series narrates the lives of the town's people. Teresa Clarís is a housewife, married to a prestigious Barcelona lawyer. She has two children of 15 and 8 years, and completed medical studies. Her husband soon makes her drop everything to take care of the children and especially of him. When she wants to regain some independence, everything gets complicated. Carlos Cuevas Sisó (born 27 December 1995) is a Spanish television, film, and theater actor, known for his performances in the Catalan television series ''Ventdelplà'' and '' Merlí''. Early life Carlos Cuevas was born on 27 December 1995 in Montcada i Reixac, Barcelona. He started acting in commercials when he was five years old. In 2002, he made his debut in the film ''La mujer de hielo''. Since 2004, he has worked as a dubbing actor for television and radio advertising campaigns, as well as for films. He began in the television world in an episode of ''Trilita'', a TV3 series created by Tricicle. Josep Maria Benet I Jornet
Josep Maria Benet i Jornet (; 20 June 1940 – 6 April 2020), also known as "Papitu", was one of the most renowned Catalan playwrights, considered one of the main renewers of Catalan theater. Biography He was born in a tiny Barcelona apartment in Ronda de Sant Antoni on June 20, 1940, from parents Concepció Jornet and Pere Benet. Growing up, his love for playwriting emerged from reading comic book strips, in which he made up his own dialogues; and he also learned from popular readings and the world of radiophonic serials. He was an active participant in the fight against the Spanish dictatorship, although he never affiliated with any political parties. He took clandestine Catalan literature lessons with Joaquim Molas, through Joan-Lluís Marfany. TV3 () is the primary television channel of Catalonia, Catalan public broadcasting, public broadcaster Televisió de Catalunya, a subsidiary of the Corporació Catalana de Mitjans Audiovisuals, CCMA.
