Sudhir Alladi Venkatesh (born 1966) is an American sociologist and urban ethnographer. He is William B. Ransford Professor of Sociology & African-American Studies at Columbia University, a position he has held continuously since 1999. In his work, Venkatesh has studied gangs and underground economies, public housing, advertising and technology. As of 2018, he is the Director of Signal: The Tech & Society Lab at Columbia University. Daggubati Venkatesh (born 13 December 1960) is an Indian actor known for his works predominantly in Telugu cinema and a few hindi films. Venkatesh debuted with the 1986 film '' Kaliyuga Pandavulu'' for which he won his first Nandi Award. In a career spanning over 35 years, he starred in many successful films and establishing himself as a major actor in Telugu films. Venkatesh won five Nandi Awards for Best Actor and six Filmfare Awards South in various categories. Along with his brother D. Akshay Venkatesh (born 21 November 1981) is an Australian mathematician and a professor (since 15 August 2018) at the School of Mathematics at the Institute for Advanced Study. His research interests are in the fields of counting, equidistribution problems in automorphic forms and number theory, in particular representation theory, locally symmetric spaces, ergodic theory, and algebraic topology. He is the only Australian to have won medals at both the International Physics Olympiad and International Mathematical Olympiad, which he did at the age of 12. In 2018, he was awarded the Fields Medal for his synthesis of analytic number theory, homogeneous dynamics, topology, and representation theory. Masti Venkatesha Iyengar (6 June 1891 – 6 June 1986) was a well-known writer in Kannada language. He was the fourth among Kannada writers to be honored with the Jnanpith Award, the highest literary honor conferred in India. Venkatesh Iyer (born 25 December 1994) is an Indian cricketer who plays for Madhya Pradesh cricket team, Madhya Pradesh in Ranji Trophy, domestic cricket and Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Mukta Venkatesh (1902-2003) was an Indian painting, painter. She is best known for her intricate floral paintings. Life Mukta Venkatesh was born as Muthulakshmi in Madras, Tamil Nadu in 1902. Her parents Meenakshi and A. Madhaviah, were committed to various social causes and her father was a well-known author in Tamil and English. As a child, she was influenced by her father's passion for literature and progressive views. Venkateswara, also known by various other names, is a form of the Hinduism, Hindu god Vishnu. Venkateswara is the presiding deity of the Tirumala Venkateswara Temple, located in Tirupati, Sri Balaji District, Andhra Pradesh, India.
