Venghai
''Venghai'' () is a 2011 Indian Tamil-language action drama film written and directed by Hari and produced by B. Venkatarama Reddy. The film stars Dhanush and Tamannaah, while Rajkiran, Prakash Raj, and Ganja Karuppu play supporting roles. The music was composed by Devi Sri Prasad with cinematography by Vetri and editing by V. T. Vijayan. The story is based in Sivagangai district. The filming started in November 2010 in Trichy, and the film was released on 8 July 2011. Plot Veerapandi is a respected man in Pandiapuram, Sivagangai district who controls around 50% votes in his constituency. He is married to Thangam and has two children, Selvam and Selvi. Tamanna Bhatia (born 21 December 1989), known professionally as Tamannaah, is an Indian actress who appears primarily in Telugu and Tamil films, along with a few Hindi films. Hari Gopalakrishnan is an Indian film director best known for his action and masala films in Tamil cinema. He made his directorial debut with '' Thamizh'' (2002). J. Mohideen Abdul Khadar, known by his stage name Rajkiran, is an Indian actor, producer and director, who has acted in more than 30 Tamil films. Early life Rajkiran was born as J. Mohideen Abdul Khadar on 16 March 1959 at Keelakarai into a Muslim family. Film career Rajkiran began by producing two Ramarajan starrer films and in one of them he appeared in a brief role. Sudha Chandran (born 27 September 1965) is an Indian Bharatanatyam dancer and actress who appears in Indian television and films.
