Vengeance Of Excalibur
''Vengeance of Excalibur'' is a 1991 role-playing video game developed by Synergistic Software and distributed by Virgin Games. It is a sequel for Synergistic's 1990 title ''Spirit of Excalibur'', set in Spain around the turn of the 10th and 11th Centuries. ''Vengeance of Excalibur'' puts the player in control of a small team of Knights of the Round Table who will seek out in Spain for the stolen items of the treasure of Camelot (the series advances the timeline of Arthurian lore 500 years past period where it is usually established). Synergistic Software
Synergistic Software was a video game developer based in Seattle. Founded in 1978, the company published some of the earliest available games and applications for the Apple II family of computers. They continued developing games for various platforms into the late 1990s. History Synergistic was founded in 1978 by Robert Clardy and Ann Dickens Clardy. They developed the ''Dungeons & Dragons''-inspired ''Dungeon Campaign / Wilderness Campaign'' game, which was later expanded and repackaged as '' Odyssey: The Compleat Apventure''. Synergistic also published a number of business applications, including a word processor and simple database program, called ''The Modifiable Database''. The Battle of Camlann ( cy, Gwaith Camlan or ''Brwydr Camlan'') is the legendary final battle of King Arthur, in which Arthur either died or was fatally wounded while fighting either with or against Mordred, who also perished. The original legend of Camlann, inspired by a purportedly historical event said to have taken place in the early 6th-century Britain, appears only in vague mentions found in several medieval Welsh texts dating since around the 10th century.
