Vijayamma Rajappan Sankar, commonly known as Sankar (Malayalam – ശങ്കർ), is an Indian film director, screenwriter, short story writer and novelist who works in Malayalam cinema and literature. Pothencode, is a rapidly developing town and a developing area of Thiruvananthapuram District in the Indian state of Kerala.
