Velton Ray Bunch
Velton Ray Bunch (born January 22, 1948 in Goldsboro, North Carolina) is a film and television composer. Sometimes credited as ''Ray Bunch''. Bunch has been nominated for an Emmy three times for his work, and won the fourth time for his score to the ''Star Trek: Enterprise'' episode "Similitude". Career Bunch has worked on dozens of television series and TV movies, as well as occasional film composition (including additional, uncredited, scoring on the film version of ''Lost in Space''). He studied and worked under famous television composer Mike Post ('' Magnum, PI'', ''The Rockford Files'', ''Quantum Leap'', ''Hill Street Blues'', much more) in various capacities, including ghostwriting for many popular series Post worked on, and taking over as main composer for Post on various series. Goldsboro, originally Goldsborough, is a city and the county seat of Wayne County, North Carolina, United States. The population was 33,657 at the 2020 census. The Blockbuster Entertainment Awards was a film awards ceremony, founded by Blockbuster Entertainment, Inc., that ran from 1995 until 2001. They were produced each year by Ken Ehrlich. Formation and first awards The awards were first held on June 3, 1995, at the Pantages Theatre and broadcast on June 6. The idea for the awards show came from Blockbuster marketing executive Brian Woods, who worked on the project for about two years. Blockbuster reportedly saw creating the awards as a way of promoting both the company and also the performers whose records and films were sold in their stores.
