Vasily Lvovich Velichko (russian: Васи́лий Льво́вич Вели́чко; 14 July 1860, in Priluki, Poltava Governorate, Russian Empire (now Pryluky, Poltava Oblast, Ukraine) – 13 January 1904, in Saint Petersburg) was a Russian Imperial politician, who served in the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Empire. He was also a poet, playwright and publicist, one of the leaders of Russian Assembly, and editor of the semi-official ''Kavkaz'' gazette. Known as a Russian chauvinist, he demonstrated blatant intolerance to the Armenian people and tried to set them on other populations in the Caucasus. He was active during the period when the Imperial Russian authorities carried out a purposeful anti-Armenian policy. Velichko Cholakov ( bg, Величко Чолаков, 12 January 1982 20 August 2017) was a Bulgarian weightlifter. Career He competed in the over 105 kg class at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, his first Olympics, winning an Olympic bronze medal. After missing two clean and jerk attempts at 245 kg, he managed to lift a total of 447.5 kg, placing him behind Latvia's Viktors Ščerbatihs and Iran's Hossein Reza Zadeh. Velichko won the European weightlifting title in Kyiv, Ukraine in 2004, and finished second at the World championship in Vancouver in 2003. In 2002, he won gold medals at both the European and World Youth Weightlifting championships. Velichko Minekov (; 13 October 1928 – 2 August 2022) was a Bulgarian sculptor. He was born in the village of Malo Konare, Bulgaria. Minekov is known as a visual artist for his monumental sculpture and renderings of public figure, and also for having been a member of the eighth and ninth National Assembly from 1982 to 1990. In 1954, Minekov finished the National Academy class sculpture "Lubomir Dalchev". He also donated a number of works to the city of Pazardzhik, where he attended primary and secondary school. In 2008, he received a lifetime achievement award from the Ministry of Culture. Velichko Velichkov (Bulgarian Cyrillic: Величко Величков; born 24 November 1986) is a Bulgarian former professional footballer who played as a defender. His nickname is Crouch. Career Velichko Velichkov started his career in home town Elhovo in local team FC Stefan Karadzha. With this team he played three years in Bulgarian amateur division.
