Velimir Naumović
Velimir Naumović Serbian Cyrillic: Beлимиp Haумoвић (19 March 1936 in Belgrade, Kingdom of Yugoslavia – 19 December 2011) was a Serbian striker who played for SFR Yugoslavia national football team, SFR Yugoslavia. He was often called Veljko (Velco) Naumović. During his managerial career he was nicknamed The saviour for his profound record of saving club from sticky situations. Career He first appeared on Stadion Kantrida, Kantrida his future club's ground in 1954 at Kvarnerska Rivijera where Red Star Belgrade, Red Star beat HNK Rijeka, Rijeka 3:1 in the final of the tournament. During his military service in Rijeka he moved to the town's football club HNK Rijeka, NK Rijeka. He stayed at the club for nine years and became a legend, being part being part of the club's first generation to play in the Yugoslav First League, First League. Serbian Cyrillic
The Serbian Cyrillic alphabet ( sr, / , ) is a variation of the Cyrillic script used to write the Serbian language, updated in 1818 by Serbian linguist Vuk Karadžić. It is one of the two alphabets used to write standard modern Serbian, the other being Gaj's Latin alphabet. Karadžić based his alphabet on the previous Slavonic-Serbian script, following the principle of "write as you speak and read as it is written", removing obsolete letters and letters representing iotified vowels, introducing from the Latin alphabet instead, and adding several consonant letters for sounds specific to Serbian phonology. The Belgian Pro League,(officially the Jupiler Pro League due to sponsorship reasons with Jupiler), is the top league competition for association football clubs in Belgium. Contested by 18 clubs since the 2020–21 season and reduced to 16 teams from the 2023–24 season onwards, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Challenger Pro League. Belgian Cup
The Belgian Cup (french: link=no, Coupe de Belgique; nl, Beker van België []; german: link=no, Belgischer Fußballpokal) is the main Single-elimination tournament, knockout association football, football competition in Belgium, run by the Belgian Football Association, Royal Belgian FA. Kvarnerska Rivijera
Kvarnerska Rivijera is one of the oldest youth football tournaments in the world, first played in 1953. The tournament is organised by HNK Rijeka, a Croatian football club, and attracts clubs from across Europe and other continents. It is held each year during the May–June period in Rijeka, Croatia, and its surroundings, including towns in the Istria County, the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County and the Lika-Senj County.
