Vegard Bye
Vegard Bye (born 19 March 1951) is a Norwegian political scientist, writer, consultant and ex-politician. He has represented the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights in Angola and Bolivia, written extensively on Latin America, and is a consultant specializing on human rights, democracy, conflict and post-conflict societies as well as solar energy. He served as a Substitute Representative (Vararepresentant) to the Norwegian Parliament for the Socialist Left Party from Oslo (1993-1997), meeting in the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs. Vegard Forren
Vegard Valgermo Forren (born 16 February 1988) is a Norwegian professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for KÍ Klaksvík. He was capped over 30 times for the Norway national team. Born in Kyrksæterøra, Forren was originally a youth player at local club KIL/Hemne, before starting his professional career with Molde in 2007. After making over 150 appearances for Molde, he joined Southampton in January 2013 for a fee in the region of £4 million, but ended up not playing a single game. He returned to Molde in July 2013 for an undisclosed fee. As of 1 December 2019, Forren has made 384 appearances for Molde, the second-highest number of appearances by any player for the club. Vegard Heggem
Vegard Heggem (born 13 July 1975) is a Norwegian former professional footballer who played as a right back. He rose to prominence with Rosenborg, winning three league titles and a cup, and scoring a goal to knock Milan out of the UEFA Champions League. In 1998, he joined Liverpool, but was troubled by injury during his five seasons there before retiring. In a two-year international career, Heggem earned 20 caps for Norway, scoring once in his debut match. He was part of their squads at the 1998 FIFA World Cup and UEFA Euro 2000. Vegard Aanestad (born 12 June 1987) is a Norwegian professional football defender. He has played for Viking and Sandnes Ulf. He moved to Viking in January 2009, while also Bryne and Strømsgodset were interested in signing the player. At Viking, Aanestad only featured in 2 cup matches. Vegard Lysvoll
Vegard Bergstedt Lysvoll (born 16 August 1989) is a Norwegian footballer who plays as a striker. He played for Svolvær, Lofoten and Start before he joined Tromsdalen ahead of the 2009 season. After scoring 30 goals in the 2011 season, Lysvoll transferred to Tromsø. He spent the second half of the 2012 season on loan with his old club Tromsdalen, before he moved permanently to his old club in 2013. Club career Lysvoll was born in Bodø and grew up in Henningsvær. Vegard Leikvoll Moberg (born 23 January 1991) is a Norwegian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Kongsvinger. Club career Moberg started his career in Os. He made his senior debut for Åsane on 16 July 2011 against Pors Grenland; Åsane lost 3–0. He signed for Tippeligaen side Sogndal in the summer on 2016. Before the 2017 season Moberg signed a three-year contract with Bodø/Glimt. On 10 January 2020 Moberg signed a contract with Danish club Silkeborg. His deal was terminated by mutual consent due to personal issues on 5 October 2020 and Moberg returned to Norway. Vegard Sannes (born 4 September 1976) is a retired Norwegian football midfielder who notably played for FK Bodø/Glimt. He was born in Kirkenes, and started his career in Kirkenes IF. He then continued in Alta IF, before joining Bodø/Glimt ahead of the 2001 season. He played 87 games and scored 4 goals in the Norwegian Premier League over the following years, and stayed in Bodø/Glimt after their relegation 2005. Vegard Hansen (born 8 August 1969) is a Norwegian football coach and former player who coaches 1. divisjon club Kongsvinger. During his time at Mjøndalen, the club was promoted to the 1. divisjon in 2008 and reached the play-offs for promotion to the Eliteserien in 2012, 2013 and 2014. In 2014 and 2018 the club won promotion to the top division. Vegard Ulvang
Vegard Ulvang (born 10 October 1963, in Kirkenes) is a Norwegian cross-country skier who won three Olympic gold medals, two silver, and one bronze. He has retired from international and Olympic competition. At the opening ceremony of the 1994 Winter Olympic Games, he took the ceremonial Olympic Oath on part of all the athletes. In addition to his Olympic achievements, he received the Holmenkollen medal in 1991 (shared with Trond Einar Elden, Ernst Vettori, and Jens Weißflog), and won the World Cup in 1990. He has also won nine gold, six silver, and two bronze medals in the Norwegian Championships. He earned nine World Cup race victories. Vegard Sletten
Vegard Sletten (8 May 1907 – 17 December 1984) was a Norwegian newspaper editor. He worked in ''Stavanger Aftenblad'' from 1929 to 1945, except for the World War II years during parts of which he was imprisoned, and then in ''Verdens Gang'' from 1945. He edited the latter newspaper from 1967 to 1977, and chaired both the Norwegian Union of Journalists and the Norwegian Press Association. Like his father Klaus Sletten he was also a Nynorsk supporter. Early and personal life Sletten was born in Kristiania as a son of newspaper editor Klaus Daae Sletten (1877–1946) and Margit Bruun (1875–1958). Vegard Skogheim (born 28 April 1966) is a Norwegian football coach and former player who played as a midfielder. During his active career, he played for HamKam, Werder Bremen and Viking. He had a total of 197 matches and 36 goals in the Norwegian Premier League. Skogheim played 13 matches for the Norway national football team and scored a goal. Vegard Sverre Tveitan (born 10 October 1975), better known by his stage name Ihsahn (), is a Norwegian multi-instrumentalist, vocalist and composer, best known for his work with black metal band Emperor.
