Veerle Geerinckx (born 3 March 1973 in Dendermonde) is a Belgium, Belgian politician and curling, curler.On WCF database there is a mistake: they wrote name as "Veerie", not "Veerle". Dendermonde
Dendermonde (; french: Termonde, ) is a city in the Flemish province of East Flanders in Belgium. The municipality comprises the city of Dendermonde and the towns of Appels, Baasrode, Grembergen, Mespelare, Oudegem, Schoonaarde, and Sint-Gillis-bij-Dendermonde. Dendermonde is at the mouth of the river Dender, where it flows into the Scheldt. The town has a long-standing folkloric feud with Aalst, south along the same river, which dates from the Middle Ages. The city is an administrative, commercial, educational, and medical centre for the surrounding region. The current mayor of Dendermonde is Piet Buyse (Christian Democratic and Flemish). 2019 World Mixed Doubles Qualification Event
The 2019 World Mixed Doubles Qualification Event was held December 2–7, 2019 at the Greenacres Curling Club in Howwood, Howwood, Scotland. It was the inaugural qualification event for the World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship, which was previously an open entry event. The tournament was open to any World Curling Federation member not already qualified for the 2020 World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship with the top four teams from this event qualifying to play in the Championship in Kelowna, Kelowna, Canada. The four teams that qualified were Germany, Italy, South Korea and China.
