''Veerappu'' is a 2007 Indian Tamil-language action drama film directed by Badri in his directorial debut. It is a remake of the 1995 Malayalam film ''Spadikam'' by Bhadran. Badri is an Indian film director and screenwriter who primarily works in Tamil film industry. He started his career with television series ''Malargal'' and made his debut in films with ''Veerappu'' in 2007. Career Badri started his career by directing a Television series such as ''Aadugiran Kannan'' and ''Malargal'' for Sun TV. He has directed over 34 films in Tamil and acted in 17 movies as the protagonist.
