Vavrinec Dunajský
Vavrinec Dunajský (born 15 July 1784 in Ľubietová, died 15 February 1833 in Budapest) was a Slovak sculptor. He is most famous for his work called the statue of Corgoň at The Canon House in Nitra. Miroslava "Mirka" Federer (born Miroslava Vavrincová on 1 April 1978, later Miroslava Vavrinec) is a Swiss former professional tennis player. She is married to tennis player Roger Federer, having first met him at the 2000 Summer Olympics. She retired from professional tennis in 2002 due to a persistent foot injury. By the time she closed her career, she was a top-100 ranked player. Early life and tennis career Born in Bojnice (then Czechoslovakia), Miroslava emigrated to Switzerland when she was two years old. In 1987, when she was nine, her father took her to watch a tournament at Filderstadt in Germany. Mirka met Martina Navratilova, who thought she looked athletic and should try tennis. Svaty Vavrinec
St. Laurent (sometimes written in French as Saint Laurent or in German as Sankt Laurent) is a highly aromatic dark-skinned wine grape variety. Its origins shrouded in mystery, St. Laurent is believed to have resulted from a crossing of Pinot noir with an unknown second parent. However, current DNA research done at HBLAWO Klosterneuberg in Austria by Dr. Ferdinand Regner has now confirmed the genetic link of St. Laurent to Pinot Noir. A link to a second parent was not able to be confirmed in this research, which led Dr. Regner to conclude that St. Laurent is either a 'selfing' or seedling of Pinot Noir, or it is the result of hybridization with an as yet unidentified second parent. Vavřinec Hradilek
Vavřinec Hradilek (; born 10 March 1987) is a Czech slalom canoeist who has competed at the international level since 2003. Hradilek competed in the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. In the K1 event he finished seventh in the qualification round, thus progressing to the semifinals. In the semifinals he finished eleventh, failing to reach the final round. At the 2012 Summer Olympics in London he won a silver medal in the K1 event. He recorded a time of 94.78 seconds in the final which was only beaten by Daniele Molmenti (93.43 s). He also started in the C2 event with Stanislav Ježek where they finished ninth after being eliminated in the semifinals.
