Vasya is a tiny crater on the Moon. It is near the site where Soviet lunar rover Lunokhod 1 landed in November 1970, in the Mare Imbrium region. Its diameter is 0.1 km. Vasya (film)
''Vasya'' is a 2002 American documentary film written, directed and produced by Andrei Zagdansky. The film tells the story of Russian underground artist Vasily Sitnikov, who was declared insane in early 1940s by the Soviet authorities. A man without a passport, in and out of mental asylums, he was the key and often "larger than life" figure of the nonconformist art movement in the Soviet Union. The movie portrays the struggles of the painter as he meets an American man that wants to buy his work. In 1975 fearing prosecution and another involuntary commitment to a mental asylum he immigrated to Austria and then to the United States. He died virtually unknown in 1987 in NYC. A number of prominent artists appear in the film, such as Dmitri Plavinsky Vladimir Titov, Kevin Clarke, poet and publisher Konstantyn K. Vassya Bankova
Vassya Stefanova Bankova ( bg, Вася Стефанова Банкова, Vasya Stefanova Bankova; born 1954, in Sofia) is a Bulgarian chemist and a president of the Bulgarian Phytochemical Society, Correspondent Member of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences since 2014. Bankova is a professor and Chief of the Chemistry of Natural Compounds Laboratory, at the Institute of Organic Chemistry with Centre of Phytochemistry (IOCCP), Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. She is also an honorary professor on the Faculty of Chemistry and Pharmacy, Sofia University. She is known as a propolis expert. She graduated from the University of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy in 1977. She obtained her PhD at the IOCCP in 1990, and obtained her degree of Doktor nauk (DSc.) from the same institute in 2000. In 2005 she was promoted to a Full Professor at the IOCCP.
