Vassilios Tsiartas
Vasilios Tsiartas ( el, Βασίλειος Τσιάρτας; born 12 November 1972) is a Greek former professional footballer who played as an attacking midfielder. Although he was famed for his lackadaisical playing style, his ability was never in question and he was in many ways the epitome of a classic "number 10" player. ''"El Mago"'', as was his nickname, was naturally left-footed but was just as dangerous with his right foot. A great football mind, a literally world-class vertical pass, amazing set-up and amazing long-range shots. Georgios Donis ( el, Γεώργιος Δώνης; born 22 October 1969) is a Greek former professional footballer who played as a midfielder and currently a manager. He is the current manager of Saudi Arabian club Al-Fateh. He was the first ever Greek to play in the English Premier League. In England, he was also known as George Donis. The 1993–94 Greek Football Cup was the 52nd edition of the Greek Football Cup. Tournament details Totally 72 teams participated, 18 from Alpha Ethniki, 18 from Beta, and 36 from Gamma. It was a very interesting competition with undecided matches and led in a Final between Panathinaikos and AEK Athens, a pair that had not appeared in a Greek Cup Final for 45 years, since the last confrontation between the two teams in the final match was in 1949. Nikos Goumas Stadium ( el, Στάδιο Νίκος Γκούμας) was a multi-purpose stadium in Nea Filadelfeia, a northwestern suburb of Athens, Greece. It was used mostly for football matches and was the home stadium of AEK Athens F.C. It is now replaced by Agia Sophia Stadium built at the same site.
