Vasile Maftei
Vasile Maftei (born 1 January 1981) is a Romanian retired footballer who played as a defender. He was best known for his leadership qualities, becoming captain for Rapid București, Unirea Urziceni, Concordia Chiajna and Voluntari. Although primarily a central defender, when needed he operated as a right back. Maftei was formed at Rapid București, where he became a key part of the team, winning one league title in 2003, one Romanian Cup and one Super Cup in 2002. In 2004, following the departure of Adrian Iencsi, he was appointed captain and won two Romanian Cups in a row in 2006 and 2007 and one Super Cup in 2007. He also reached the UEFA Cup quarter-finals with Rapid in 2006, where they were eliminated by Steaua București. On 26 February 2006, Maftei was called up to the Romania team for the first time, as a replacement for the injured Dorin Goian. Fălticeni
Fălticeni (; ''german: Foltischeni; hu, Falticsén;'' he, פלטיצ'ן yi, פאלטישאן) is a town in Suceava County, northeastern Romania. It is situated in the historical region of Western Moldavia. Fălticeni is the second largest urban settlement in the county, with a population of 24,619 inhabitants, according to the 2011 census. It was declared a municipality in 1995, along with two other cities in Suceava County: Rădăuți and Câmpulung Moldovenesc. Dorin Nicolae Goian (born 12 December 1980) is a Romanian professional football manager and former football player. He is currently the manager of Liga III side Foresta Suceava. Club career Early years (1997–2005) In 1997, he signed for Foresta Fălticeni, a football club from Suceava County, where he played for the club's second team. Two years later, he was promoted to the first team. He made his first appearance in the Divizia A in 2000, when he was 20 years old in a match versus Gloria Bistriţa. FC Steaua București was a Romanian professional football club of which two current entities are claiming the records. The original ''FC Steaua București'' team was part of the namesake CSA Steaua București sports club and belonged to the Ministry of National Defence. In 1998, the club and facilities were separated from the sports club and taken over by a group of shareholders in a post-Ceaușescu privatisation scheme, allegedly leading to one of the shareholders (Gigi Becali) acquiring full ownership five years later. Adrian Iencsi
Adrian Mihai Iencsi (born 15 March 1975 in Piatra Neamț) is a Romanian former football player and currently a manager. As a footballer, he enjoyed spells at Ceahlăul Piatra Neamţ, Rapid București, Spartak Moscow, Apollon Limassol and Kapfenberger SV. Iencsi has won two Romanian championship titles with Rapid București in 1999 and 2003. In 2009 Adrian Iencsi signed a contract with Rapid București as a second coach and player. On 18 April 2009 the former assistant coach managed the team on a temporary basis until a replacement to Rada was found. He ended his career at FCM Târgu Mureș. His first head coach job was at Liga IV team CS Corbeanca. Then he signed after some weeks with her rival ACS Popesti Leordeni. He finished second in the championship.
