Vasil Petrov
Vasil Petrov ( bg, Васил Петров; born 5 October 1986) is a Bulgarian professional football manager and former player who played as a defender. He currently work as Sporting Director at Fratria. In 2007, aged 17, Petrov started his own football academy, later registered as FC Sofia 2010 and in 2015 bought by Stoyne Manolov and transformed into Tsarsko Selo. In 2017, he started a new academy in Varna, called FC Varna 2017. Academy ownership In March 2007, under the initiative of his father Vladimir, Petrov established a football academy in Sofia. In 2010, after three consecutive years of growth, the academy formed a men's team and registered it with the Bulgarian Football Union under the name FC Sofia 2010. In the 2014–15 season, the team was playing in third league when it was bought by Stoyne Manolov. Sofia
Sofia ( ; bg, София, Sofiya, ) is the capital and largest city of Bulgaria. It is situated in the Sofia Valley at the foot of the Vitosha mountain in the western parts of the country. Bulgarian Second League
The Bulgarian Second Professional Football League ( bg, Втора професионална футболна лига, Vtora Profesionalna Futbolna Liga), also known as Second League ( bg, Втора Лига) or Vtora liga, is the second level of the Bulgarian football league system, below First League and above the Third League. Sixteen teams take part in the league, each playing twice against all the other, once home and once away. Most matches are played on Saturdays and Sundays. The league is administered by the Bulgarian Professional Football League. In 2016, the B Group's name was rebranded to Second Professional Football League. 2020–21 Third Amateur Football League (Bulgaria)
The 2020–21 Third Amateur Football League season was the 71st of the Bulgarian Third Amateur League. The group is equivalent to the third level of the Bulgarian football pyramid, comprising four divisions based on geographical areas. These divisions are the North-West, North-East, South-East, and South-West. The number of teams in each division varies, similarly to previous seasons. The season started on 8 August 2020, a delay of two weeks due to the COVID-19 situation in Bulgaria. Valentin Iliev Valov ( bg, Валентин Илиев Валов; born 11 August 1980) is a Bulgarian football manager and former professional player. Personal life Iliev's father, Iliya Valov, was goalkeeper for CSKA and Bulgaria's national team. Playing career Early career Iliev started his career in his home town Vratsa, where he played for the local team Botev Vratsa. In June 2001 he signed with Ukrainian club Metalurg from Zaporizhzhya, where he played 21 matches and scored one goal. CSKA Sofia In November 2004, Iliev joined CSKA Sofia. Sozopol ( bg, Созопол) is a Bulgarian association football club based in Sozopol, currently playing in the Second League, the second level of Bulgarian football. History In 2008 Sozopol secured promotion to the South-East V AFG in their inaugural season.
