Vasanthakala
''Vasanthakala'' is a 2008 Indian Kannada-language romantic action film written and directed by Vaddanahalli Srinivas making his debut. The film is produced by M Krishna under the banner Parvathi Parameshwara Combines. It features Naga Kiran and Hariprriya in the lead roles. The supporting cast includes Sudhakar, Rangayana Raghu, Sharan and Umashree. The score and soundtrack for the film is by V. Manohar and the cinematography is by Venus Murthy. Naga Kiran, from Somarpet, Kodagu, is an Indian actor in Kannada films. He has also acted in Telugu and Tamil movies. Nagakiran started with modelling under ace model trainer Prasad Bidapa. Rangayana Raghu
Kotturu Chikkarangappa Raghunath (born 17 April 1965), known by his screen name Rangayana Raghu, is an Indian film and stage actor, known for his work in Kannada cinema. Portraying mostly comic and negative-shaded characters, he has appeared in over 250 films. Prior to acting in films, he worked as a stage actor with B. V. Karanth's theatre group Rangayana, from 1988 to 1999. He made his debut in films in 1995 with ''Suggi'', which got shelved. Raghu got his major break in films after appearing as an antagonist in ''Dhumm'' (2002). Sharan (actor)
Sharan (born 6 February 1972) is an Indian actor and an occasional playback singer and film producer who works in Kannada cinema. He made his acting debut in the mid-1990s and appeared mostly in comedy roles and small supporting roles. However, he earned much recognition during the late 2000s and made his lead role for his 100th film ''Rambo'' and since then featuring as the lead actor in comedy films. Umashree (born 10 May 1957) is an Indian actress and politician. She is known for her portrayal of film roles spoken in the Kannada language (over 400), particularly comic roles. She received National Film Award for Best Actress for her role as Gulabi in the 2008 Kannada movie Gulabi Talkies. Shruthi Chandrasena, known professionally as Haripriya, is an Indian actress and model who chiefly works in Kannada films, in addition to a few Tamil and Telugu films. Haripriya is currently engaged to Kannada actor Vasista.N. Simha. Early life Hariprriya was born on 29 October 1991 in Chikkaballapur, India. Kaviraj (or Rajkavi, Kaviraja) is a title of honor, which was given to poets and litterateurs attached to royal courts in medieval India. Hemanth Subramanya known by his stage name as Hemanth, is a playback singer in Kannada cinema. Early life Hemanth was born in a family of musicians at Bangalore, India.
