Varsham (2004 Film)
''Varsham'' () is a 2004 Indian Telugu-language romantic action film produced by M.S. Raju on his Sumanth Art Productions banner and directed by Sobhan, the film stars Prabhas, Trisha, and Gopichand and the music was composed by Devi Sri Prasad. The film was remade in Tamil as ''Mazhai'', Odia as ''Barsa My Darling'', and in Hindi as '' Baaghi''. Plot Venkat, an unemployed youngster, meets Sailaja, a middle-class beauty, on a train journey, and they are immediately attracted to each other after dancing in a rain shower. At the same time, Sailaja catches the eye of Bhadranna, a dangerous, ruthless politician who also fell in love with her. Venkat keeps bumping into Sailaja every time it rains, and they fall in love. Ranga Rao, Sailaja's father, is a typical black sheep with many bad habits. Bhadranna approaches him with the marriage proposal, and Ranga Rao jumps on that and agrees. Later, a film producer Seenayya approaches Ranga Rao with an offer for Sailaja to act in a movie. ...

Sobhan
Sobhan (1968 – 6 January 2008) was an Indian film director and screenwriter who has worked in Telugu films. He was best known for his work in the film '' Varsham'' (2004). Career Sobhan went to Chennai in 1989 to join the film industry. He initially worked for a film called ''Rowdyism'', which was stalled after 10 days of shooting. He then joined Tripuraneni Varaprasad alias Chitti Babu as co director for Raithu Bharatham, He then joined Ram Gopal Varma as a co-director for ''Anaganaga Oka Roju''. Later, he started his profession as a writer for Krishna Vamsi's film ''Sindhooram'' and worked with him for '' Murari'', and also acted in films like ''Kshana Kshanam'' and ''Oka Raju Oka Rani''. Chandra Mohan (born Mallampalli Chandrasekhara Rao; 23 May 1944) is an Indian actor known for his works predominantly in Telugu films. He has garnered one Filmfare Award South and two Nandi Awards. He received critical reception for his performance in box office hits such as '' Rangula Ratnam'' (1966) for which he received the state Nandi Award for Best Actor, ''Padaharella Vayasu'' (1978) for which he won the Filmfare Best Actor Award (Telugu), and ''Siri Siri Muvva'' (1978). Narra Venkateswara Rao was an Indian actor known for his works in Telugu cinema. He hailed from Agraharam village (Ramachandrapuram) in Zarugumalli Mandal, Prakasam district of Andhra Pradesh, India. Jaya Prakash Reddy
Jaya Prakash Reddy (8 May 1946 – 8 September 2020) was an Indian actor who predominantly appeared in Telugu films. Born in Sirvel of Andhra Pradesh, he came into the limelight with the film ''Samarasimha Reddy'' (1999) where he played the role of Veera Raghava Reddy. He acted as an antagonist in several films such as ''Jayam Manade Raa'' (2000) and '' Chennakesava Reddy'' (2002). Later in his career, he was also featured in many comic roles. He died at his home in Guntur on 8 September 2020, at an age of 74, from massive cardiac arrest. Kunath Venu Madhav (died 25 September 2019) was an Indian actor, television presenter, mimicry artist and comedian known for his works predominantly in Telugu cinema.
