''Vanna Kanavugal'' () is a 1987 Indian Tamil-language film directed by Ameerjan and produced by Kavithalayaa Productions. The film stars Karthik, Murali and Jayashree. It is a remake of the 1984 Malayalam film ''Adiyozhukkukal''. The film, which notably features no songs, was released on 9 July 1987 and emerged a success. Ameerjan
Ameerjan was an Indian film director, who has directed Tamil films. He was primarily active in the 1984-1991 and is most noted for his work on films featuring actors Murali and Karthik. Career Ameerjan began his career as a protégé to director K. Balachander and then won critical acclaim for his directorial debut in 1984 with ''Poovilangu'', which starred actors Murali and Kuyili in the lead roles. He went on to direct more than 20 feature films, both in Tamil and Telugu, often collaborating with actors Murali and Karthik. Ameerjan also worked on a high-budget action film '' Siva'' (1989) featuring Rajinikanth as well as on socially relevant films such as '' Thulasi'' (1987). As opportunities declined, he began assisting K. Balachander when he started making television shows and also directed his own shows. Velmurugan Thangasamy Manohar (born 6 March 1960), professionally credited as Charle, is an Indian actor who works in Tamil cinema. He has acted in more than 800 Tamil films as a comedian and supporting actor. He was named after the English comedian Charlie Chaplin. Biography Charle completed his degree in chemistry from G. V. N. Gopalarathnam, known by his stage name Typist Gopu, was an Indian actor known for comedy and supporting roles. He acted in over 600 stage plays and 400 films. Career A native of Manakkal, Lalgudi in Trichy district, Gopalarathnam was active in college dramas during his B. Com. from Vivekananda College, Chennai and got introduced to the stage through his friend Nagesh in his drama troupe in 1955. History and profile ''Ananda Vikatan'' was started by Late Pudhoor Vaidyanadhaiyar in February 1926 as a monthly publication. M. Nassar (born 5 March 1958) is an Indian actor, director, producer, dubbing artist, singer and politician who mainly works in the Tamil and Telugu film industries he has also worked in few Malayalam, English and Hindi films. He is the incumbent president of the Nadigar Sangam. Early life and education Nassar was born on 5 March 1958 to Mehaboob Basha and Mumtaz in Tamil Nadu, India.
