Vanida Imran
Vanidah binti Imran (born 1 October 1973) better known by her stage name Vanidah Imran, is a Malaysian actress, model and television host. In 2007, she received the Best Female Actress award at 20th Malaysia Film Festival. She is mixed of Indian- Javanese descent. She is formerly main host of TV3’s women magazine show ''Nona''. The show is talking about women life, healthy lifestyles and family. She eventually became the main host of the show from 2 January 2011 took over Maya Karin. Early life Born in Penang to a Penangite Indian father and a Malay mother of Javanese descent who passed away when she was still a child, Vanidah grew up and spent her teenage years in Kuala Lumpur and completed her secondary education at Convent Bukit Nanas. Mahsuri
Mahsuri binti Pandak Mayah was a young woman who lived in Pulau Langkawi, an island in northwestern Kedah, Malaysia, during the late 18th century. According to folklore, she was accused of adultery and executed by stabbing. Her tomb, ''Makam Mahsuri'', has become a tourist attraction on the island. Legend Mahsuri was the daughter of a Siamese who moved from their native Phuket Province to the island of Langkawi in search of a better life. She was the most beautiful woman in all of Langkawi and married the warrior Wan Darus. As was required of him, her husband had to go to war on behalf of Kedah against Thailand, leaving Mahsuri behind to fend for herself. Astro Ria is a 24-hour Southeast Asia Bahasa Malaysia television channel exclusive to the Astro satellite television provider. It was one of the first 22 channels to be launched on Astro in 1996. Astro Ria offers a variety of shows including news, local and Indonesian dramas, movies, reality shows, sports, talk shows, cartoons, concerts, sitcoms, documentaries, cooking shows, quizzes and more.
