Vangelis (wrestler)
Vangelis (sometimes spelled Vangellys; born September 7, 1981) is the ring name of a Mexican ''luchador'' (or professional wrestler) known for his work for the Mexican professional wrestling promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL). He portrays a ''rudo'' ("bad guy") wrestling character. He has formerly worked for AAA in Mexico, Dragon Gate in Japan and extensively on the Mexican independent circuit. Vangelis is the winner of the 2013 ''En Busca de un Ídolo'' tournament and a former holder of the Mexican National Light Heavyweight Championship. Professional wrestling career Vangelis trained under El Torero, Dick Angelo and Huracán González, before making his professional wrestling debut in 1999. ''Guerra de Titanes'' (2000) ("War of the Titans") was the fourth ''Guerra de Titanes'' professional wrestling show promoted by AAA. The show took place on December 8, 2000 in Madero, Mexico. , better known by his ring name , is a Japanese professional wrestler currently signed to Dragon Gate. He is not related to fellow Dragon Gate wrestler and long term ally/rival Masaaki Mochizuki, who debuted much earlier for WAR. Taku Iwasa
Taku Iwasa (born November 15, 1977) is a Japanese professional wrestler best known for his work in Dragon Gate. Career Early Iwasa graduated as part of the Toryumon T2P class. He initially portrayed ''Takamichi Iwasa'', a Satanic character. Injuries derailed his career, and he soon ended up as a jobber to the stars. He was briefly scouted by the famous Crazy MAX stable, and they gave him a ten match trial series. CMAX was never truly interested in Iwasa, though, and he lost all 10 matches. Following this, he joined forces with Raimu Mishima, who had been exiled from M2K for losing too many matches and general weakness. They petitioned to form their own unit, but were unable to do so.
