''Vandroid'' is a five-issue comic book Limited series (comics), limited series, written by Tommy Lee Edwards and Noah Smith, illustrated by Dan McDaid and published by Dark Horse Comics. There is an accompanying Vandroid (soundtrack album), Vandroid soundtrack album by French electronic music label Ed Banger Records, a short film directed by Edwards and an animated trailer made by London-based studio Golden Wolf. Plot summary The backstory of the Vandroid comic book is that its creators are reviving a fictionally lost sci-fi movie from 1984. As for the story itself: Chuck Carducci, a genius engineer who had the world at his feet is now a washed up, broke mechanic. Chuck is contacted by an old friend from his college days with an offer to work on a new project involving artificial intelligence. Tommy Lee Edwards is an American illustrator. Edwards' varied portfolio includes works created in the realm of comics, video games, books, advertising, film, and animation. Career As well as comic-related work he has also worked on film projects, providing the style guides for films like ''Batman Begins'', ''Superman Returns'' and ''Men in Black II'' as well as providing movie posters, illustrations for role-playing games and other promotional or licensing work. Dan McDaid () is a British comic book writer and artist. Career McDaid made his debut in '' Doctor Who Magazine'', after sending a sample strip to then editor Clayton Hickman. His debut work for DWM was as writer of ''The First'', a story where the Doctor meets Ernest Shackleton. He took part in Comic Book Resources' Comic Book Idol 2007, reaching the final three. He then teamed up with Glen Brunswick for a twelve-issue run on ''Jersey Gods'' for Image Comics. While the television series '' Doctor Who'' was off-air, McDaid wrote the 10th Doctor's continuing adventures, published in DWM, then collected in ''The Crimson Hand''. Frédérick Falke () (born 7 January 1973), known professionally as Fred Falke, is a French house and dance music producer and DJ. Biography Falke started out as a bass player before moving to production work. His first record, a collaboration with Alan Braxe named ''Intro'', which sampled The Jets' 1987 hit " Crush on You", was released in 2000 on Vulture Music. The pair would form a very productive partnership releasing a handful of singles and later making remixes for Goldfrapp, Röyksopp, Kelis, Justice, and others. Moritz Friedrich, better known by his stage name Siriusmo, is a Berlin-based German record producer. Initially influenced by Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Squarepusher, and Aphex Twin, his tracks can be broadly defined as electronic, and are formulated with a variety of samples. He signed on the French electronic music label Ed Banger Records in 2003 and released the track "Radar Rider", which is also the first release of the label. Feadz
Feadz (born Fabien Pianta) is a French music producer, DJ and songwriter currently signed by French music label Ed Banger Records. He combines the genres of hip hop, electronic, techno and French house in his music and frequently collaborates with label-mate and former girlfriend Uffie. Career Feadz began creating electronic and hip hop music in the early 1990s in Paris. He met fellow music producer Mr. Oizo in 1999 and the two began production on his album ''Analog Worms Attack'' which became extremely successful and the two toured the world to promote it. Pierre-Alexandre Busson (born 3 June 1977), better known as Yuksek, is a French electronic music producer, remixer, singer and DJ from Reims. Yüksek means "high" in Turkish.
