Vandana Gupte is a Marathi stage actress who has also performed television and film roles. Career Her most well-known TV role was as the domineering Nilambari Pandey in Zee TV's comedy serial ''Kareena Kareena''. She was a part of project done by Ashok Hande on Manik Varma named ''Manik Moti'' with support by Rani Varma and Bharti Achrekar after Manik Varma's death. Personal life Vandana is the daughter of noted classical singer Manik Varma and Shri Amar Varma, and sister of Bharati Achrekar and Rani Varma. Vandana Jain is an Indian Cornea, Cataract and Lasik Eye Specialist. She is the founding Director of Advanced Eye Hospital and Institute in Navi Mumbai. Vandana Shiva (born 5 November 1952) is an Indian scholar, environmental activist, food sovereignty advocate, ecofeminist and anti-globalisation author. Based in Delhi, Shiva has written more than 20 books. She is often referred to as "Gandhi of grain" for her activism associated with the anti-GMO movement. Shiva is one of the leaders and board members of the International Forum on Globalization (with Jerry Mander, Ralph Nader, and Helena Norberg-Hodge), and a figure of the anti-globalisation movement. ''Eudocima'' is a genus of moths of the family Erebidae with numerous tropical species. The genus was first categorised by Gustaf Johan Billberg in 1820, and species currently in the genus have been placed under a range of other genera in the past. Adult moths in the genus are known for puncturing and feeding on the juices of fruits, because of which they are considered as pests by horticulturists. Description Palpi with second joint thickened and reaching vertex of head, and blunt naked third joint. Antennae minutely ciliated in male. Metathorax have slight tufts.
