Kevin Falcon (born 1963) is a Canadian financial executive and a provincial politician who is the leader of the British Columbia Liberal Party as of 2022, and the Leader of the Opposition as of May 2022. He is the member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) for the district of Vancouver-Quilchena, being elected in a byelection in April 2022. He formerly served as the MLA for Surrey-Cloverdale as a member of the BC Liberals from 2001 to 2013. Art Cowie
Art Cowie (September 17, 1934 – November 21, 2009) was an urban planner, landscape architect and political figure in British Columbia. He represented Vancouver-Quilchena in the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia from 1991 to 1993 as a Liberal. He was born in 1934 in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Cowie was educated at the University of New Brunswick, at University College London and at the University of British Columbia. He served on the Vancouver Park Board and then on Vancouver city council. Cowie resigned his seat in the provincial assembly in 1993 to allow Gordon Campbell to be elected to the assembly. He was president of Sungold Entertainment Corporation and of Eikos Planning Incorporated. In 2003, he was named a director for the North Fraser Port Authority. Colin Hansen
Colin Hansen (born 1952) is a former provincial politician for the Canadian province of British Columbia from 1996 to 2013. Hansen's most recent cabinet position was Minister of Finance and Deputy Premier from June 10, 2009 to March 13, 2011. He had also served as Minister Responsible for Small Business since October 25, 2010. On November 30, 2010, he was additionally appointed as the Minister of Health Services. Vancouver-Point Grey
Vancouver-Point Grey is a provincial electoral district for the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia, Canada. It was first contested in the general election of 1933. It was created out of parts of Richmond-Point Grey, South Vancouver and Vancouver City. The riding began as a three-member seat, and was reduced to a two-member seat in 1966 when Vancouver-Little Mountain was created. In the redistribution preceding the 1991 election, it was reduced to a one-member riding along with the other older urban ridings, as several new one-member ridings were created. West Vancouver-Capilano is a provincial electoral district for the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia, Canada. The riding is the wealthiest constituency in British Columbia, with a median household income of $93,569 according to the 2006 Census. In every election from 1991 to 2017, the BC Liberals won this riding with at least 65% of the popular vote, making it one of the safest seats in the province for the party.
