Leendert Van Der Vlugt
Leendert Cornelis van der Vlugt (13 April 1894 – 25 April 1936) was a Dutch architect in Rotterdam. In the architects office Brinkman & Van der Vlugt he was responsible for the architecture of the Van Nelle Factory, a listed monument of the UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2014. After the death of the Rotterdam architect Michiel Brinkman in 1925, his son Johannes Brinkman, a constructional engineer, took over the architectural office and made Leendert van der Vlugt co-director. The new practice was called J.A. Brinkman & L.C. van der Vlugt, (Vlugt pronounced as "Vlücht"). Bram van der Vlugt (28 May 1934 – 19 December 2020) was a Dutch actor. He is known for playing the role of Sinterklaas for over two decades. He died on 19 December 2020, at the age of 86, after contracting COVID-19 during the COVID-19 pandemic in the Netherlands. Marijne van der Vlugt (born 6 October 1965 in De Meije) is a Dutch musician, former model and MTV Europe VJ. She is the daughter of Dutch actor Bram van der Vlugt. Marijne started her career as a VJ for MTV Europe Central from London in the early 1990s and hosted such shows as Alternative Nation (every Wednesday from 23:00), and the fashion show ''The Pulse with Swatch''. She also often did the voiceovers for the night-time videos and her voice was used in some MTV adverts. After MTV Central decided to close down pan-European broadcasting from London in 1997, MTV Network Productions went regional.
