, is a Japanese pop singer and occasional actress. She is as a member of the band Do As Infinity (DAI), along with Ryo Owatari and Dai Nagao, that has resumed activities after their 2005 split. Career Do As Infinity Beginnings as solo artist Tomiko Van began as a solo artist while she was with Do As Infinity with the song "Again", which appeared on the charity album ''Song Nation'', and later in 2003 with the song "Drive me nuts", which was recorded for trance DJs project Cyber X. Van also appeared in six commercials for the Japanese hair product company Lavenus. Do As Infinity is a Japanese pop and Rock music, rock band that formed in 1999 with three members: vocalist Tomiko Van, guitarist Ryo Owatari, and guitarist and composer Dai Nagao. The band's name is sometimes abbreviated as DAI, alluding to the fact that Do As Infinity was named after Nagao. Signed to Avex Trax, the band released their debut single "Tangerine Dream (song), Tangerine Dream" on September 29, 1999, followed by three more singles between 1999 and 2000, which appeared on their debut album ''Break of Dawn (Do As Infinity album), Break of Dawn'' (2000). TRF (an abbreviation of Tetsuya Komuro Rave Factory) is a Japanese pop band. Its members are DJ Koo, Sam, Etsu, Yu-ki and Chiharu. History The band debuted as "trf" in the year 1993. During the period of 1994 to 1995, the band released 5 singles produced by Tetsuya Komuro, each selling over a million copies under the Avex record label. In 1995, their song "Overnight Sensation: Jidai wa Anata ni Yudaneteru" received a Japan Record Award. The following year, the band changed their name to an all-capital "TRF" with their single "Hey!
