André Van Duren
André van Duren (born 20 June 1958) is a Dutch film director. Career His 1992 film ''Heading for England'' won the Dutch Film Critics Award at the Netherlands Film Festival. In 2000, he directed the film '' Mariken'' which is based on Peter van Gestel's children's book ''Mariken'' which itself is based on the early sixteenth-century text '' Mariken van Nieumeghen''. The film won the Audience Award at the Cinekid Festival that year. ''Mariken'' also won the Adult's Jury Award at the 2001 Chicago International Children's Film Festival. Lastly, the film also won the Audience Award as the 2001 Netherlands Film Festival. In 2011, he directed the film ''The Gang of Oss'' which received the Golden Film award that year. In 2016, the film '' The Fury'' won several Golden Calf awards: Hannah Hoekstra won the Golden Calf for Best Actress award for her role in the film and Anneke Blok won the Golden Calf for Best Supporting Actress award. Mart Van Duren
Martin van Duren known as Mart (born 27 October 1964) is a retired Dutch football striker. Van Duren played his youth football in the youth department by PSV Eindhoven. In 1982 he advanced from their U-19 team to their first team. Two years later her transferred to Racing Jet de Bruxelles, where he played for two seasons, but because the team were relegated, he then moved on to BVV Den Bosch, where he played for five seasons. Van Duren then moved to FC Groningen, he played four seasons with them. Van Duren joined FC Basel's first team for their 1994–95 season under head coach Claude Andrey. Peter Bander Van Duren
Peter Bander van Duren (30 July 1930, in Cologne – 21 April 2004) was a British writer on heraldry and orders of knighthood. Biography Peter Bander immigrated to the United Kingdom from Germany and became a British citizen in 1962. In 1976, he changed his name by deed poll to ''Peter Bander van Duren'', adding a slight alteration of his mother's maiden name, von Duren, to his father's surname. Bander van Duren worked as a teacher in a borstal, a prison for youth, and in Edith Cavell School, a secondary school in a deprived part of Islington, and then taught Religious & Moral Education at Wall Hall Callege, Cambridge Institute of Education, a teachers' training college in Aldenham, Herts. In 1966 he became co-founder and joint-Managing Director of Colin Smythe, a small British publishing house.
