Vamsy
Vamsy is an Indian film director, screenwriter and music director known for his works in Telugu cinema. In 1985, he received the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Telugu, National Film Award for ''Sitaara''. Vamsy has his own style of making the movie with art like the director Bapu (director), Bapu. Early life Vamsy was born in Balabhadrapuram,and brought up in the village of Pasalapudi, near Ramachandrapuram, Konaseema district, Ramachandrapuram of East Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh. Career Vamsy started writing stories at the age of 15. His first story is "Satya Sundari Navvindi" was read in All India Radio in 1975. He has also written 2 novels, "Manchu Pallaki" & "Karma Sakshi" which were published in "Andhra Jyothy Weekly" before beginning his film career. Sitaara
''Sitaara'' () is a 1984 Indian Telugu-language drama film written and directed by Vamsy. The film marked the debut of Bhanupriya in Telugu film industry. The film was adapted from Vamsy's own novel ''Mahal lo Kokila'' (). The film deals with the friendship of two people in the backdrop of peasants, zamindars, Indian movie world, and paparazzi. Upon release, the film received very positive reviews and remained a cult classic, and the soundtrack became all time chart-buster. ''Manchu Pallaki'' () is a 1982 Indian Telugu-language film, produced by M. R. Prasad Rao and directed by Vamsy. It stars Chiranjeevi, Suhasini, Rajendra Prasad and Sai Chand, with music composed by Rajan–Nagendra. This film was director Vamsy's debut as film director. The film is a remake of the Tamil film '' Paalaivana Solai'' (1981). ''Ladies Tailor'' is a 1986 Indian Telugu-language comedy film, produced by K. Sarada Devi under the Sri Sravanthi Movies banner, presented by Sravanthi Ravi Kishore and written and directed by Vamsy. It stars Rajendra Prasad and Archana, with music composed by Ilaiyaraaja. Gadde Rajendra Prasad (born 19 July 1956) is an Indian actor who predominantly works in Telugu films. He is a recipient of four Andhra Pradesh state Nandi Awards, three SIIMA Awards, and three Santosham Film Awards. Sankarabharanam () is a 1980 Indian Telugu-language musical drama film written and directed by K. Viswanath. Produced by Edida Nageswara Rao under the production company Poornodaya Movie Creations, ''Sankarabharanam'' starred J. V. Somayajulu, Manju Bhargavi, Chandra Mohan, and Rajyalakshmi. The National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Telugu is one of the National Film Awards presented annually by the Directorate of Film Festivals, the organisation set up by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, India. It is one of several awards presented for feature films and awarded with Rajat Kamal (Silver Lotus).
