Vallinam
''Vallinam'' () is a 2014 Indian Tamil-language sports film written and directed by Arivazhagan and produced by Aascar Ravichandran. The film stars Nakul and newcomer Mrudhula Basker. It was released on 28 February 2014. Plot The film starts with Krishna (Nakul) and Shiva (Krishna). They are childhood friends studying in the same college and prominent basketball players preparing for a national-level basketball tournament. Following the events of the college, Shiva dies due to heart attack because he was hit by a basketball shot by Krishna. This makes Krishna end his college career. He then joins a new college where a basketball game is teased by a cricket team there. The story lines up when Krishna takes on basketball again and wins the national-level tournament. Arivazhagan Venkatachalam
Arivazhagan Venkatachalam is an Indian film director in Tamil cinema known for his 2009 thriller film ''Eeram''. Career Venkatachalam is a gold medalist from the M.G.R. Government Film and Television Training Institute. He went on to assist the Indian director S. Shankar, Shankar. In 2009, he debuted his first directorial venture with Eeram, produced by his own mentor's production house S Pictures. The film with an unusual theme and plot went on to become a huge hit. Arivazhagan's second film is Vallinam produced by Aascar film V.Ravichandran. The film was a very bold attempt and went to huge hit once again in box office. Nakul (actor)
Nakkhul Jaidev is an Indian actor and playback singer who works in Tamil cinema. He debuted as one of the lead actors in the 2003 film ''Boys (2003 film), Boys'' directed by S. Shankar. He sang his first song in the soundtrack album for ''Anniyan'' (2005). Career 2003–2009: Beginning Nakul was just 19 years old when he was chosen for the part of Juju in Shankar's coming-of-age film ''Boys (2003 film), Boys'' (2003). ''Race Gurram'' is the feature film soundtrack of the 2014 family drama film of the same name starring Allu Arjun, Shaam, Shruti Haasan and Saloni Aswani. Directed by Surender Reddy, the film's music and background score was composed by S. Thaman marking his first collaboration with Allu Arjun and second collaboration with Surender Reddy. The official soundtrack album consists of 6 songs composed by S. Thaman and Chandrabose, Rehaman, Viswa and Varikuppala Yadagiri Goud penning the lyrics.
