Valley High School (Albuquerque, New Mexico)
Valley High School is a public high school in the city limits of Albuquerque, New Mexico, United States. It is part of the Albuquerque Public Schools district. The school opened in 1954 and enrolls around 1,800 students. Athletics VHS competes in the New Mexico Activities Association (NMAA), as a class 6A school in District 5. In 2014, the NMAA realigned the state's schools in to six classifications and adjusted district boundaries. In addition to Valley High School, the schools in District 5-6A include West Mesa High School, Rio Grande High School, Albuquerque High School and Atrisco Heritage Academy High School. Arian Foster
Arian Isa Foster (born August 24, 1986) is a former American football running back and current musical artist under the name Bobby Feeno. He played college football at the University of Tennessee, and was signed by the Houston Texans of the National Football League (NFL) as an undrafted free agent in 2009. Foster was known for his signature Namaste bow, which he frequently performed after scoring touchdowns. Foster holds the Texans franchise records for rushing yards and rushing touchdowns, and also played for the Miami Dolphins. Foster announced his retirement from the NFL on October 24, 2016. Gregory J. "Greg" Zanetti is an American retired officer of the United States Army National Guard, financial advisor, and political candidate. Early life and education Zanetti was raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico and graduated from Valley High School in 1976. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Military Academy, a Master of Business Administration from Boston University, and a Master of Strategic Studies from the United States Army War College. Bobby Shew
Bobby Shew (born March 4, 1941) is an American jazz trumpet and flugelhorn player. Biography He was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, United States. After leaving college in 1960, Shew was drafted into the U.S. Army and played trumpet and toured with the NORAD joint forces band stationed in Colorado Springs. After leaving the Army, Shew joined Tommy Dorsey's band and then played with the Woody Herman and then the Buddy Rich big bands in the mid-to-late 1960s. He was a trumpeter in Tom Jones's band while in Las Vegas, and is featured on his 1971 live album ''Live at Caesar's Palace''. Sidney McNeill Gutierrez (Colonel, USAF, Ret.) (born June 27, 1951), is an American pilot and former NASA astronaut.
