Valeriy Ihorovych Luchkevych ( uk, Валерій Ігорович Лучкевич; born 11 January 1996) is a Ukrainian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Kolos Kovalivka. Career Luchkevych is a son of Ukrainian international player and current coach Ihor Luchkevych and product of FC Metalurh Zaporizhya youth sportive school system. In December 2013 he signed a contract with FC Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk. He made his debut for FC Dnipro in the match against FC Karpaty Lviv on 10 August 2014 in the Ukrainian Premier League. On 30 January 2017, Luchkevych signed for Belgian club Standard Liège. On 12 March 2017, he made his debut for the club coming on as a substitute in a 55th minute in a Belgian First Division A match against Oostende. On 13 May 2017, he scored the first goal for his club in a Europa League play-off match of Belgian First Division A against Mechelen. Golden Talent Of Ukraine
Golden talent of Ukraine is a unique national award for young Ukrainian footballers. Winners are determined on a basis of the calendar year results in two age categories – Under-21 (players who are not older than 21 at the end of the year) and Under-19 (players who are not older than 19 at the end of the year). Annual rating is based on monthly surveys of coaches, directors of sport schools, experts, journalists and fans. The final voting is held at the end of a year, to which the participants come with bonus points (for success in the monthly surveys). 2016–17 FC Dnipro Season
The 2016–17 season was 26th consecutive season in the top Ukrainian football league for FC Dnipro. Dnipro competed in Premier League and in the Ukrainian Cup. Dnipro would have qualified for the Europa League group stage as the third-placed team of the 2015–16 Ukrainian Premier League, but were excluded from participating in the 2016–17 European competitions by the UEFA Club Financial Control Body. The club was excluded from participating in the next UEFA club competition for which it would otherwise qualify in the next three seasons (2016/17, 2017/18 and 2018/19) for violating the Financial Fair Play regulations. 2015–16 Ukrainian Premier League
The 2015–16 Ukrainian Premier League season is the 25th top-level football competitions since the fall of the Soviet Union and the eighth since the establishment of the Ukrainian Premier League. Because of sponsorship the league changed its title for 2015–16 season to League Parimatch. The competition commenced on 17 July when Metalurh Zaporizhya hosted Zorya Luhansk in Zaporizhzhia. The first sixteen rounds were played before the winter break which began 6 December 2015; the competition resumed on 5 March 2016. The season concluded on 15 May 2016. Dynamo Kyiv are the defending champions. The 2014–15 Ukrainian Premier League season was the 24th since its establishment. The competition commenced on 25 July when Metalurh Donetsk hosted Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk in Lviv. With the continuation of the 2014 pro-Russian conflict in Ukraine in the oblasts of Donetsk and Luhansk the Football Federation of Ukraine, the league reduced the number of teams.
