Valeriia Kirdiasheva
Valeriia Kirdiasheva (born 28 November 2000) is a Russian handball player who plays for ŽRK Budućnost Podgorica. She also represented Russia at the 2019 Women's U-19 European Handball Championship in Hungary, placing 4th and at the 2018 Women's Youth World Handball Championship in Poland, were the Russian team won the final tournament. On 15 January 2021, she extended her contract with Handball Club Lada, until the summer of 2022. Buzuluk, Orenburg Oblast
Buzuluk (russian: Бузулу́к) is a town in Orenburg Region, Russia, located on the Samara, Buzuluk, and Domashka Rivers, northwest of Orenburg and southeast of Samara. Population: History It was founded in 1736 as the fortress of Buzulukskaya () on the Samara River near the mouth of the Buzuluk River along Russia's southern frontier. It was later moved to its current place near the source of the Domashka River. It was granted town status in 1781. An important development was the opening, in 1877, of the railway line connecting Samara with Orenburg. ŽRK Budućnost Podgorica
ŽRK Budućnost is a women's handball team from Podgorica, Montenegro (previously, the club also appeared under the names ZRK Buducnost MONET, Buducnost Brillant and Buducnost Titograd). Among the numerous titles, Budućnost is two-times winner of EHF Women's Champions League The club was founded on February 13, 1949, and played its first official game in 1950. Handball Club Lada is a Russian women's handball club from Tolyatti playing in the Russian Super League. Founded in 1998, Lada became the leading team in the Super League winning five championships in a row between 2002 and 2006 and a sixth one in 2008. It also built itself a name in Europe winning the 2002 Cup Winners' Cup in its international debut and reaching the final of the 2007 Champions League and the next edition's semifinals. The following three seasons were less successful, with Dynamo Volgograd retrieving the leading position. Rostov-Don (russian: Ростов-Дон) is a female handball team from Rostov-on-Don, Russia. Established in 1965, the club was called Rostselmash until 2002. Rostov-Don is competing in the Russian Super League. They have won the league seven times, in 1994, 2015, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2022. The club have won the Women's EHF Cup in 2016–17, and was runner-up of the 2014–15 edition after losing the finals against the Danish team TTH Holstebro. In the 2017–18 EHF Champions League, the club reached the Final 4 tournament for the first time in the club's history, where they finished fourth. Russia Women's National Handball Team
The Russia women's national handball team is the national team of Russia. It is governed by the Handball Union of Russia and took part in international handball competitions. The 2018 Women's Youth World Handball Championship was the seventh edition of the tournament and took place in Kielce, Poland from 7 to 19 August 2018. Handball
Handball (also known as team handball, European handball or Olympic handball) is a team sport in which two teams of seven players each (six outcourt players and a goalkeeper) pass a ball using their hands with the aim of throwing it into the goal of the other team. A standard match consists of two periods of 30 minutes, and the team that scores more goals wins. Modern handball is played on a court of , with a goal in the middle of each end. The European Handball Federation (EHF) is the umbrella organisation for European handball. Founded on 17 November 1991, it is made of 50 member federations and two associated federations (England and Scotland), and is headquartered in Vienna, Austria. History EHF was founded on 17 November 1991 in Berlin, Germany, although the first EHF Congress convened on 5 June 1992 and assigned EHF's headquarters to Vienna, Austria from 1 September that year. In 2012 the EHF Office celebrated 20 years since it first opened its doors.
