Valerian Pereverzev
Valerian Fedorovich Pereverzev (Russian: Валерьян Фёдорович Переверзев; 17 October 1882 – 5 May 1968) was a Soviet Union, Soviet literary scholar. He and his associates published the 1928 collection ''Literary Criticism (1928 book), Literary Criticism,'' a controversial key text in what was called the "Pereverzev school."Scott HG, Hellie JL (1986). Pereverzev was born in Bobrov, Bobrovsky District, Voronezh Oblast, Bobrov (now Voronezh Oblast). He studied physics and mathematics at the University of Kharkiv from 1901 to 1905 but was expelled and exiled to Narym for participating in revolutionary activities, being a member of Russian Social Democratic Labour Party, RSDLP since 1905.
