Canale 5 () is an Italian free-to-air television channel of Mediaset, owned by MFE - MediaForEurope. It was the first private television network to have a national coverage in Italy in 1980. On 4 December 2012, Mediaset launched Canale 5 HD, a simulcast of Canale 5 in high-definition. Since January 2013, Canale 5 has been directed by Giancarlo Scheri. Claudia Koll (born Claudia Maria Rosaria Colacione; 17 May 1965) is an Italian actress. Biography Claudia Koll was born in Rome of Italian and Romanian parentage. Koll made her debut as a cinema actress in 1989, but achieved fame for her part in the erotic movie ''Così fan tutte'' (''All Ladies Do It'', 1992), directed by Tinto Brass. Subsequently she has worked mostly for theater and television. She reached her widest audience in the popular television series ''Linda e il brigadiere'' (''Linda and the Brigadier'', 1997-2000) with Nino Manfredi. Giulio Base (born 6 December 1964) is an Italian film director. He has received two doctorates, one in Literature and Philosophy and another in Theology, and has been a member of Mensa International since 1996. Career Base began his career as an actor, studying in Florence at the School for Dramatic Art under the actor Vittorio Gassman. After working as an actor, he made his directorial debut with ''Crack'' (1991), based on a theatre piece that he had already directed and performed on stage. The movie was shown at the Venice Film Festival in Italy. The film won the best first opera prize at the San Sebastián International Film Festival in Venice. Ferdinando "Nando" Gazzolo (16 October 1928 – 16 November 2015) was an Italian actor and voice actor. Biography Born in Savona, the son of the actor and voice actor Lauro Gazzolo and EIAR radio announcer Aida Ottaviani Piccolo, Gazzolo debuted at young age on radio, and in 1948, at twenty years old, he started his acting career entering the stage company led by Antonio Gandusio. He achieved his first personal success in 1951, in the adaptation of '' Antonio e Cleopatra'' staged by Renzo Ricci. Marino Masè (21 March 1939 – 28 May 2022) was an Italian actor who appeared in more than 70 films. Life Masè was born in Trieste on 21 March 1939. While still a teenager, he joined the laboratory for young actors of the production company Vides by Franco Cristaldi and studied acting under Alessandro Fersen. He made his stage debut in 1960 in ''L'arialda'', directed by Luchino Visconti, and his film debut in the 1961 adventure '' Romulus and the Sabines'' by Richard Pottier. He had several leading roles in the first half of the 1960s, including Marco Bellocchio's ''Fists in the Pocket'' and Jean-Luc Godard's ''Les Carabiniers'', then he was mainly cast in supporting roles.
