Valentin Iglinsky
Valentin Iglinsky ( kz, Валентин Иглинский) (born 12 May 1984 in Astana) is a Kazakh road racing cyclist who last rode for UCI ProTour team . He is the younger brother of Maxim Iglinsky, who rode for the team. Career He had competed for between 2009 and 2012 before joining in 2013. Iglinsky returned to the team in 2014. On 10 September 2014, it was announced that Iglinsky had tested positive for EPO at the Eneco Tour. He was immediately fired by the management, who said Iglinsky acted independently of the team. Tour de l'Ain, also known as the Prix de l'Amitié, is an annual professional cycling stage race held in eastern France. The general classification is the most important classification, the one by which the winner of the Tour de France is determined. Since 1919, the leader of the general classification wears the yellow jersey (french: maillot jaune ). History The winner of the first Tour de France wore a green armband, not a yellow jersey. 2010 Giro D'Italia
The 2010 Giro d'Italia was the 93rd edition of the Giro d'Italia, one of cycling's Grand Tours. The race started off in Amsterdam on 8 May and stayed in the Netherlands for three stages, before leaving the country. The route included climbs such as Monte Zoncolan, Plan de Corones, the Passo del Mortirolo and the Passo di Gavia before ending in Verona with an individual time trial. Principal favorites for overall success in the Giro included Ivan Basso of the team, Cadel Evans for , and 's Carlos Sastre. General Classification In The Giro D'Italia
The general classification in the Giro d'Italia is the most important classification of the Giro d'Italia, which determines who is the overall winner. It is therefore considered more important than secondary classifications as the points classification or the mountains classification. Since 1931, the leader of the general classification is identified by a pink jersey ( it, maglia rosa ). Prior to that year and since the creation of the race, no colour was used to distinguish the winner at the top of the classification. The first rider to wear the maglia rosa was Learco Guerra following the first stage of the 1931 Giro d'Italia. The first jersey was entirely pink and made from wool. In road bicycle racing, a Grand Tour is one of the three major European professional cycling stage races: Giro d'Italia, Tour de France, and Vuelta a España. Collectively they are termed the ''Grand Tours'', and all three races are similar in format, being three-week races with daily stages.
