Valdemar Borovskij
Valdemar Borovskij (also known as Valdemaras Borovskis; born 2 May 1984) is a Lithuanian professional footballer who plays as a right-back for A Lyga club Riteriai. Career On 8 February 2015, Borovskij signed with Bulgarian club Beroe Stara Zagora following a successful trial period. On 22 February, he was sent off for a second yellow card in his official debut - a 0:1 away loss against champions Ludogorets Razgrad in the second leg of a Bulgarian Cup match. Before the start of 2016 season Valdemar signed one year contract with I Lyga winners Lietava. He became one of his team leaders and helped team to qualify into the Championship round. Borovskij was elected into the A Lyga Team of the Week 8 times and was elected ''FK Lietava Player of the Year'' after season ended. FC Šiauliai
FC Šiauliai is a Lithuanian football team from the city of Šiauliai. The team is referred to as "Šiauliai". History The basketball and football club "Šiauliai" (KFK "Šiauliai") was established in Šiauliai in 1994. The club founded a basketball team in 1994 and a football team in 1995. The football team played in Antra Lyga (3rd tier) and had no desire to move up to a higher division. Rather, the club focused its attention on the basketball championship LKL and other leagues. The situation in Šiauliai City changed when FK Kareda Šiauliai was sold in 1999 and moved from Šiauliai to Kaunas. Edgaras Česnauskis (born 5 February 1984) is a Lithuanian former professional footballer who played as a winger. Club career Česnauskis was born in Kuršėnai. He started his career in 2000 playing for his hometown team Ekranas. He played for Dynamo Kyiv from 2003 to 2005, however, he received limited playing time and was often excluded from the matchday squads, appearing in only 9 matches across all competitions for the Ukrainian club. In March 2006, he signed a three-year deal with Russian club Saturn Ramenskoye. He was a regular starter for the club, appearing in 52 league matches and scoring ten goals until May 2008, when he moved to league rival FC Moscow. The 2011 A Lyga was the 22nd season of the A Lyga, the top-tier football league of Lithuania. The season began on 12 March 2011 and ended on 6 November 2011. Ekranas were the defending champions, having won their third consecutive title at the end of the 2010 season. Teams The league will see a change in the number of teams once again as twelve teams were granted a licence for 2011, one more than in the 2010 season. Futbolo Klubas Riteriai, also known as FK Riteriai or as Riteriai, is a Lithuanian professional football club based in Vilnius. The 2016 A Lyga, also known as ''SMSCredit.lt A Lyga'' for sponsoring purposes was the 27th season of the A Lyga, the top-tier association football league of Lithuania. The season began on 2 March and ended on 26 November 2016. Žalgiris Vilnius were the defending champions.
