Vakhid Masudov
Vakhid Masudov (Kazakh: Вахид Юнусұлы Масудов, Vahid İunusūly Masudov) - Soviet and Kazakh footballer, midfielder. He played for the national team of Kazakhstan. Master of Sports of the USSR (1986). Has a coaching category "A". Career In the spring of 1977 he made his debut in the team of masters «Khimik» (Dzhambul). A year later, he moved to the «Xorazm» team from Xonqa, where he was recommended by ex-Khimik player Christopher Kaskinidi. Returning to Dzhambul in the fall of 1978, he received a summons to the military registration and enlistment office and went to serve in a team from Kyzylorda «Orbita». In 1980, «Kairat's» mentor Igor Semyonovich Volchok called him to him, who created a team in Alma-Ata for the future. Taraz ( kz, Тараз, تاراز, translit=Taraz ; known to Europeans as Talas) is a city and the administrative center of Jambyl Region in Kazakhstan, located on the Talas (river), Talas (Taraz) River in the south of the country near the border with Kyrgyzstan. FC Vostok
FC Vostok ( kk, Восток Футбол Клубы, ''Vostok Fýtbol Klýby'') was a Kazakhstan, Kazakh association football, football club from Oskemen (Ust-Kamenogorsk), and a founding member of the Kazakhstan Premier League in 1992. The club's best finish in the league was 5th place in 1997 and again in 1998. History On 19 September 2008, FC Shakhter and FC Vostok were found guilty of one count of match fixing. Coaches and management involved were banned from football for 60 months and both clubs were expelled from the Kazakhstan Premier League On 2 October 2008, the Football Federation of Kazakhstan revised these decisions. FC Vostok's expulsion was upheld, while FC Shakhter's punishment was reduced to a deduction of nine points. The result of the fixed match was annulled, and all remaining Vostok games were to be counted as won 3–0 by their opponents. However, the expulsion of FC Vostok from the Kazakhstan Cup 2008 was revoked.
