Vagif Javadov
Vagif Javadov ( az, Vaqif Cavadov; born 25 May 1989) is an Azerbaijani people, Azerbaijani Association football, football coach and a former player who played as a Forward (association football), striker. He was voted Azerbaijani Footballer of the Year in 2009. Javadov started playing football at age 7 and attended one of the local football schools under Vagif Pashayev. He joined PFC CSKA Moscow, CSKA's youth system at 11, playing for the club's youth and reserve teams as a striker. In 2007, he left PFC CSKA Moscow, CSKA Moscow and joined FK Qarabağ, Qarabağ. Club career After settling into the team and under the tutelage of Gurban Gurbanov, Javadov's play improved immensely and he managed to become a favourite of FK Qarabağ fans shortly thereafter. Qarabağ Futbol Klubu, commonly known as Qarabağ () is an Azerbaijani professional football club, based in Baku, that competes in the Azerbaijan Premier League, the top flight of Azerbaijani football. The club originates from Aghdam but has not played in its hometown since 1993 due to the First Nagorno-Karabakh War. The club is now based in the capital city of Baku. The Moldova national football team ( ro, Echipa națională de fotbal a Moldovei) represents Moldova in international football and is controlled by the Moldovan Football Federation, the governing body for football in Moldova. Moldova's home ground is Zimbru Stadium in Chișinău and their head coach is Serghei Cleșcenco. Shortly before the break-up of the Soviet Union, they played their first match against Georgia on 2 July 1991. In sport, a cap is a player's appearance in a game at international level. The term dates from the practice in the United Kingdom of awarding a cap to every player in an international match of rugby football and association football. In the early days of football, the concept of each team wearing a set of matching shirts had not been universally adopted, so each side would distinguish itself from the other by wearing a specific sort of cap. An early illustration of the first international football match between Scotland and England in 1872 shows the Scottish players wearing cowls, and the English wearing a variety of school caps. The TFF 1. Lig, officially known as Spor Toto 1. Lig for sponsorship reasons, is the second level of the Turkish football league system. The league was founded in 2001 as the ''Turkish Second League Category A'' after the reorganization of the Second Football League, which was the second level of the Turkish league system between 1963 and 2001. Gurban Osman oghlu Gurbanov ( az, Qurban Osman oğlu Qurbanov; born 13 April 1972) is an Azerbaijani football manager and former player who manages FK Qarabagh. He played as a forward. Starting out with local club Kur in 1988, Gurbanov had a decorated 18-year career. He scored 178 goals in 399 league matches. With 14 goals in 68 matches, he is also the Azerbaijan national team's all-time leading goalscorer in international matches. From 2017 to 2018 he was the manager of the Azerbaijan national team.
