Vadym Gostiev
Vadym Hostyev (born January 19, 1987) is a Ukrainian footballer who plays with Dynamo Toronto in the Canadian Soccer League. Club career Europe Hostyev began his career in 2005 with FC Krasyliv in the Ukrainian First League where he played for two seasons. He had a brief stint in the Ukrainian Amateur League in 2006 with Iskra-Skirts on a loan deal. In 2009, he played abroad in Moldavia's National Division with FC Sfântul Gheorghe Suruceni. He made his debut for Suruceni on July 5, 2009, against FC Nistru Otaci. After a season abroad he returned to the Ukrainian Second League to play with Helios Kharkiv. In 2010, he played in the Ukrainian Second League with MFC Mykolaiv where he assisted the club in securing promotion by winning the league title. The Association of Amateur Football of Ukraine ( uk, Асоціація аматорського футболу України, AAFU) is a sports organization that administers national competitions of association football among amateur and children teams. AAFU is a collective member of the Football Federation of Ukraine. 2020 Canadian Soccer League Season
The 2020 Canadian Soccer League season was the 23rd season under the Canadian Soccer League name. The season commenced on August 15, 2020, and concluded with the CSL Championship final on October 17, 2020. FC Vorkuta defeated the reigning champions Scarborough SC at Racco Park in Vaughan, Ontario, and secured their second championship. While Scarborough made their fourth consecutive appearance to the championship final and claimed their first divisional title. 2018 Canadian Soccer League Season
The 2018 Canadian Soccer League season was the 21st season under the Canadian Soccer League name. The season began on May 13, 2018, and concluded on October 13, 2018, with the CSL Championship final held at Centennial Park Stadium in Toronto, Ontario. FC Vorkuta won their first championship by defeating Scarborough SC in a penalty shootout. Vorkuta found further success in the Second Division by winning their first CSL double after defeating Halton United in the finals. Meanwhile FC Ukraine United claimed the First Division title. Scarborough SC is a Canadian soccer team founded in 2014. The team is currently a member of the Canadian Soccer League, a league that is not sanctioned by a FIFA recognized body. The team plays home games out of Birchmount Stadium in the district of Scarborough, Toronto, Ontario. The team's colours are green, and black. CSL Championship
The Canadian Soccer League championship final or CSL Championship is the post-season match of the Canadian Soccer League (CSL) and is the successor to the CNSL Championship. The winner is crowned champion in the same manner as in other North American sports leagues (i.e. via a playoff following a regular season). This differs from other top soccer leagues around the world which consider the club with the most points at the end of the season to be the sole champion. SC Waterloo Region is a professional Canadian soccer team that plays in the Canadian Soccer League, a non-FIFA-sanctioned league. The club was formed in 2011 under the name KW United FC and competed in the Second Division of the CSL. The "Pharma" portion of the name comes from ''pharmaceutical'' influences that are associated with the club's ownership as evident on the original logo which is in English rather than Ukrainian.
