''Vacation'' is the third studio album by Canadian rock band Seaway and a follow-up to 2015's '' Colour Blind.'' Background and production Pre-production was done with Derek Hoffman and Alan Day at Fox Studios, and by Mike Harmon at Wachusett Recording. ''Vacation'' was produced and engineered by Mike Green and Kyle Black at Green's studio, and by Will McCoy at West Alley Studios. Colin Schwanke, Fabian Rubio, and Jon Lundin acted as assistant engineers, and operated Pro Tools. Black mixed the recordings at West Alley. Composition Of Vacation, Singer Ryan Locke said: "Vacation is a step in a new direction for us. While still holding onto familiar aspects of the band, we definitely explored new destinations for Seaway. Seaway is a Canadian rock band from Oakville, Ontario signed to Pure Noise Records and Dine Alone Records. The band has released three EPs and four studio albums. History Formation and early releases (2011–2013) Seaway formed in 2011 in Oakville, Ontario, consisting of Ryan Locke on lead vocals, Patrick Carleton on rhythm guitar and vocals, Andrew Eichinger on lead guitar, Adam Shoji on bass, and Ken Taylor on drums. All of the members have been friends since high school. Locke, Eichinger, and Taylor began playing music together as early as grade 5, performing at talent shows and for other friends. Seaway was originally a side-project of hardcore band The Fellowship, which featured Locke on drums, Eichinger on guitar and Taylor on vocals. ''Rise or Die Trying'' is the second studio album from American rock band Four Year Strong. The name "Rise or Die Trying" comes from a lyric to "Go Long Dad", a song from their first album, ''It's Our Time''. Background and production The group released their debut album ''It's Our Time'' in January 2005, and followed it up with another EP later that year. The album was recorded and produced by Matt Robnett and Nik Tyler of Playwork Productions at Big Sky Audio in Springfield, Pennsylvania in March 2007. Caleb Joshua Shomo (born December 1, 1992) is an American singer, musician, multi-instrumentalist, and songwriter. He is most well known as the lead-vocalist of hardcore punk band Beartooth, though he records all studio instrumentals for the band. He is also the former lead vocalist, keyboardist, and early backing vocalist of electronicore band Attack Attack!, and the owner of Studio Records in Columbus, Ohio. Pop punk (or punk pop) is a rock music genre that combines elements of punk rock with power pop or pop. Riot Fest is an annual three-day punk rock music festival based in Chicago, Illinois, at Douglass Park. It is known for booking reunions, guest performances, and full album performances. Riot Fest remains one of the largest independently owned music festivals in the United States. Dine Alone Records is a Canadian and American independent record label, founded in St. Catharines and Toronto by Joel Carriere. The label is now based in Toronto, Nashville and Los Angeles.
