Vaa Kanna Vaa
''Vaa Kanna Vaa'' is a 1982 Indian Tamil-language film, directed by D. Yoganand and produced by Santhi Narayanasamy. The film stars Sivaji Ganesan, Sujatha, Major Sundarrajan and Jaiganesh. It is a remake of the Telugu film ''Raa Kanna Raa''. The film was released on 6 February 1982. Plot Naidu and Papa are an older couple that quarrel constantly but are devoted to each other. Ramu defies his rich father to marry Seetha and they eventually rent a room at Naidu and Papa's home. The older couple come to see Seetha as a surrogate daughter and are consequently drawn into the younger couple's lives. However, once Seetha has a child, problems erupt between Seetha and Ramu. Naidu and Papa support Seetha unconditionally becoming very attached to her child. Subsequently, Ramu rejoins with his father who relents wanting to see his grandson. Vietnam Veedu Sundaram was an Indian playwright, screenwriter and film director. He wrote films such as Gauravam (1973 film), Gauravam, Vietnam Veedu, Gnana Oli, Satyam, Grihapravesam, Justice Gopinath, Annan Oru Koyil, Naan Yen Pirandhen and Naalai Namadhe (1975 film), Naalai Namadhe. Sivaji Ganesan
Villupuram Chinnaiya Manrayar Ganesamoorthy, better known by his stage name Sivaji Ganesan, (1 October 1928 – 21 July 2001) was an Indian actor and producer. He was active in Tamil cinema during the latter half of the 20th century. Sivaji Ganesan is acknowledged as one of the greatest Indian actors of all time and among the most imitated one by other actors. He was known for his versatility and the variety of roles he depicted on screen, which gave him also the Tamil nickname ''Nadigar Thilagam'' (). Sujatha (actress)
Sujatha (10 December 1952 – 6 April 2011) was an Indian actress who performed and staggered in a number of unique and variety of characters in Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu films- in addition to few in Kannada and Hindi languages as well. The actress was best known for restraint and subtlety in portrayal of varied emotions. After starring in numerous Malayalam films in her mother-tongue, Sujatha later got introduced to the Tamil film industry by veteran director K. Balachander and producer P.R. Govindarajan as a protagonist in her first Tamil film, ''Aval Oru Thodar Kathai'' (1974). It was a critically acclaimed film and launched the actress's first commecrical breakthrough in her acting career. Srinivasan Sundarrajan (17 March 1925 – 28 February 2003), popularly known as Major Sundarrajan, was an Indian actor and director who performed predominantly in Tamil language films and plays. He was well known for his sophisticated and urbane way of delivering dialogues, often mixing English and Tamil sentences. Early life Sundarrajan was born on 17 March 1925 in a middle-class Brahmin family in Periyakulam, Madurai. His father Srinivasa Iyengar was a stage actor. Sundarrajan's first stint with acting came when he was in the sixth grade; at this point he was cast in a Hindi play of his school. He went on to act in numerous school and college plays. Jai Ganesh (1946 – 11 February 2001) was an Indian Tamil film actor. He had supporting roles in the films ''Aval Oru Thodar Kathai'' and ''Attukara Alamelu'', among others. His most popular roles have been as a supporting actor or as a villain in films such as '' Thaayillamal Naan Illai'' (1979) and ''Athisaya Piravi'' (1990). Nagesh (born Cheyur Krishnarao Nageshwaran; (27 September 1933 – 31 January 2009) was an Indian actor, mostly remembered for his roles as a comedian in Tamil films during the 1960s.
